I have a 14 year old daughter, and I'm plotting up a punishment for her as I type this. It was her that was to take out the garbage. Now I'm the neighborhood clutz!
I think back to the outrageous things that I had supposedly done as a kid, for my parents to punish me in the hideous ways they did. Today things are so different. It seems the norm just place their kids in a time out and call it good.
I hated standing in the corner with a book on my head for 45 min, and picking my own stick from a tree to get swatted with, 1 swat for each min it took me to find the damn stick.
What were some of the ways you were punished as a child to make you never do the deed again? |
