No matter where you decide You need to be or go, I plan on staying here for you In your heart, I'm sure you'll know. I made myself a promise And this was my own choice To always be right here for you, Ever listening for your voice. And if you should ever need me At any time or place, Just call my name out softly And you will see my face. What we have shared together Means more than just today It is meant to last forever And beyond that by a day. My love is unconditional And will stand the test of time You own a peice now of my heart, Even if you are not mine. Your contentment and your happiness Are what matters most to me. I do not care what others think, I only know how it should be. Regardless of what the future holds Weather near or far apart, I will be here for you always Like a whisper in your heart.

If I could catch a rainbow I would do it just for you And share with you its beauty On the days you are feeling blue If I could build a mountain You call your very own A place to find serenity A place to alone If I could take your troubles I would toss them in the sea But all these things I'm finding Are impossible for me I cannot build a mountain Or catch a rainbow fair But let me be what I know A friend that's always there

We can't choose the people we become friends with but sometimes we have the good fortune to wind up with someone special... the way I did with you It makes such a difference in my day just knowing that you'll be there Your way of looking at things helps me put them in perspective and always gives me a lift. I feel that I was lucky getting to know you and you have turned out to be a real good friend.

I'm glad there's you to smile at me And brighten up my day.
