This Is My Writing

A friend asked me to post my blog from another site to here so.. Here it is. I don't write often actually I never write. (I think It's because my mom does.) When I write I don't use Grammer and I don't check spelling. I just right and walk away so I can't screw it up by fixing it. Anyway here it is Bridges Current mood: contemplative My days drift by following the road of bridges and paths in life. Burning my bridges as I go, Ive crossed many bridges in the last few months with matches in hand.Thinking Im walking to a place I belong. Paths begin to fade as I lose my direction. I dont mind being lost, why should it matter. Ill find another path, another bridge. As I emerge from a dark direction that has torn me apart I see a path as beautiful and perfect as I can imagine, the path that I thought could not exist. It seemed so perfect as I walked along it. I think to myself, although Ill find other paths that are beautiful, it may be the last time I find a path like this. I begin to wonder where this will lead so I begin to run down the green aisles of this path. The feeling of happiness starts to overwhelm me as I see a break in the trees and rush to its edge. I come to a bridge of decision and peer to the other side. I see an end, green and lush like the childhood stories of Eden. Waterfalls rolling down soft cliffs and splashing perfectly clear water along the rocks at there bottom. Flowers make the ground turn to waves as the air pushes by them, filling the air with pollen and colors making this place glow with golds and reds, blues dashing across the ground banging into each other almost dancing with each other. And then I see her; she stands up from the flowers and pulling her fallen hair back over her head. She looks up at me, standing across the bridge. Her arm rises in the air to wave at me as she says hello from across the span. As I see her standing there with the sun falling upon her skin as the air around her glows with an unimaginable perfection, I feel my heart start to race my lungs filling with air that feels almost electric, making me want to laugh in happiness. I move forwards and as I take my first step onto the bridge, I think about how perfect it all looks. I gaze across the distance looking upon her, knowing I have never met her but feeling her warmth and happiness as she looks toward me. I turn to look at where I have come from seeing all the darkened faded paths behind me, feeling the chill and the smell of smoke that has run through them for so long. I look down at my feet, and see the first step of this bridge. I know this bridge; I think to myself this is the bridge I have dreamed of, the bridge I built in my head as the perfect bridge. I know this place and its better then I have imagined it. I tear drops down from my face as it hits the plank I close my eyes and lift my head to see her standing there on the other side. I smile, and lift my arm to say goodbye reaching back down to strike the match. I carefully place it on the bridge watching it ignite the plank. Looking up as the smoke begins to fade the perfect picture, I see her smiling and turning away toward her own bridges possibly never to see her again. Turning back to my own smoke-filled paths that have lied behind me, I disappear within their maze. I think to myself as I take these lonely steps, how beautiful she was, and how much I would have liked to have talked with her about her paths and bridges. I hope I find a bridge that leads me to a place like that. I hope our paths meet again.
