Last night
I dreamed
Of how I wished
Things were different then
Tears fell like hail
For the times I failed
And all I've missed out in

You are
My light
In the
Darkest dawn
The thing in my life that
Makes me
Want to go on

Lately
I've been feeling like
Something's very wrong
The days pass slow
Without you
They all
Seem very long

I can't forget
The yesterdays
We never got to have
How did it come to be
This way?
Why did I get
So mad?

All I can say is, your my Sun
And I will always be
Your Dad
I hope that when you think of me
That you forget the bad
And when I'm gone away from you
You never get too sad

Understanding
Comes in time
But when does forgiveness come?
At the end of the line

Said and done
