Not a day goes by where I don't think about you. I even sometimes let my imagination run free to where I could almost see your face, feel your touch, and smell your scent. I've kissed you a thousand times in my mind and have made love to you in the sweetest of my dreams.

And there are times when I can feel your arms around me and the warmth, the love. Oh, what the imagination can do if you want it to. We go way back, you and me. I bet you didn't know that but it's true. When I was a little girl I used to dream about you. There have been at least a few dozen different scenarios on how we'd meet; the way you would smile, your soft an gentle touch, what you would say.

And when you kissed me for the first time, I can still feel that child-like innocence, which turned into passion as I grew into a woman. And our intimate moments shared are plenty.

I close my eyes and once again let my imagination run free. We're also very old friends. You know all about me. I've shed my skin and showed you the essence of what I'm made of. Not a day goes by where I don't think about you. Wonder about you. Dream about you. Not a day goes by where I don't try to find you.

I sit here, alone in the darkness of my empty life still waiting for you, and only you. Don't you know that? And I've been waiting for so long. Endless. Lifetimes. I still dream of you finding me and getting to live 'happily ever after'. And the years have passed, my teens, my twenties, now almost approaching thirty - and you're still not here. What's keeping you from me? I'm here. I'm here. Don't you know that I'm here? What I wouldn't do right now to have you here. Beside me. Loving me. Spending our lives together. My eyes burn with tears because you are nowhere to be found. And my worst fear is that I'll never find you. That you'll remain just a figment of my overactive imagination.
