My thoughts. Patience, one must always have patience. All will turn out all right, you will see. My love. I’ve finally run out and I can’t see anymore. I long for the one who’s missing. My sanity. Frustration is too friendly. No one understands. My soul. Separation kills the heart. An emotional wreck. You are My thoughts, My love, My sanity, My soul, My everything For now and ever more.

Every breath, every heartbeat, every thought Is for you and only you I exist only for you Never did I wish to hurt, to upset, to argue. Heart torn and bleeding Glazed look, tears streaming I whisper softly, “I love you” And slip silently away.

Once so warm and bright Till life faded her colors She was put aside And quickly forgotten Dust covered, broken The artist came along Spotted her amongst all the clutter And took her home Painstakingly restored To an unknown beauty She is his sun And he her world

What is love, other than an obsession For you that I cannot live without Every day it grows Though I am not with you I long to be back in your arms Yet I know you would tell me to go Then wish that I wouldn’t Duty demands it Like Romeo and Juliette Fate is what brought us together Now our families keep us apart My heart cries out for yours Bittersweet is the time I spend Talking to you and gazing at Your pictures, daydreaming Of our future together Knowing that the reality Will far surpass the fantasy With all the ups and downs The crazy nights and long days

“Please, please don’t cry,” he says. And try she does for him. What of the cost to her? For now she cannot feel. To end her tears, she must not feel. So numb she becomes. This bleak unfeeling world she’s in. She looks around uncaring. How long will it last? Who holds the key? For now she has no will to fight. But no longer will she shed any tears.

Patience, My Child, All do not understand. Matters of heart are known Only by a joyous few. Some may never comprehend, Be not short with them. Instead show them pity For they are not as bountiful. Pay no heed to their criticism For their jealousy speaks it. Hold tight to your lover And hear solely his words of love. Be patient, Dear One, You have everything you need. While they flounder for The fleeting ghost of your love.

Chaos wreaked across the land A nightmare come to life Droughts, floods hand in hand Sickness borne from so much strife What has become of this one’s life Once at peace with all that was Constant let down hardened his heart Tossed aside cause The Gods didn’t know where to start Abandoned when help was needed most A thousand years he spent like a ghost A sacrifice made, a girl cast aside Lost and alone, tears streamed In a small haven found she did reside Always hoped and dreamed He returned violently Eyes wide she stood quaking silently One look is all it took To crack his heart of stone She stood there and shook To his knees he dropped ready to atone A hand she placed on his face At long last they knew their place

Invisible, she knew watching them walk by no one ever saw her, she was on her own why had become her chant as she cried herself to sleep night after night Day after day she stood there watching desperately for any sign that she lived and breathed among them that it was not just some hellish nightmare from which she couldn’t escape, but no, it was her ghoulish reality of an existence as the world went on around her Shunned by all, she would watch as their eyes skipped over her, as if she were never there Alone, a sorrow filled word; frightened her heart ached for companionship for someone to call a friend.

Bittersweet is Your leaving My staying You want this and I I cannot deny you what you want So I’m behind you all the way I put on a cheerful face So that you may not know Know just how much it hurts An endless ache The not knowing, Not hearing, not seeing With you my heart left Smiles will be empty Laughs a ghost of what they were My love, I wait Wait for you to come Home to me once again Until then I’ll stay here Counting down the seconds Till I have my world back
