So the last time I was on this site....it wasnt even called Fubar...dont even rememebr wtf is was called...back in like 2007-2008ish
werent many people etc etc..so i come back...and make a few friends etc. isnt too bad...but there are a few things im noticing that i find completely hysterical...and they will be called out below
Begging and desperate people....
ive run into 2 people who pulled the "damn i could really use an amazon gift card" shit on me..one even started crying on the phone because she was running out of pre-paid minutes and asked if i could help her out because she " loved talking to me "
Ive removed 4 friends today because whatever hokey bullshit they get on here that costs money is running out so they make a post begging for someone to buy them a new one...one even said that she would give access to her NSFW folder for it..haha really??
Look, ill be the first to admit i prob dropped about $100 in the past 3 weeks for tokens to play the stupid penny slots game or whatever. and hell...if people are willing to drop $$ on a website...good for Fubar
..but there is actually a subculture out there that i ran into on another site ( chaturbate ) that lives off of guys...with NO LIVES...and some disposable income..there is also a more aggressive part of it that supposedly are called Findommes.. where...for no real reason at all....these chicks ( mostly ) will demand $$ from these desperate sheltered men....for as little as a photo of them...think..Sugardaddy but without the nice dinners and real contact.
Ok im usually not judgemental...however maybe its the manager in me...or the fact that ive worked since i was 15...or maybe im just ignorant to the "real world" and have never really worked a job that paid min wage...but if you're main source of income are amazon gift cards because you showed someone your tits...i THINK i miiiiight be time to re-evaluate your life/career choices.
Secondly, I get it...this place is more like a game, its fun to get a bunch of likes and ratings and whatever other fringe shit there is...I get the ranking system is almost like a competition..but seriously.. it gets annoying
