In Memory of Hercules

Protector, friend, companion and family pet
I have always bred, owned, rescued, and loved German Shepherds - I was raised with one named Misty from about 3 years old until I was 16. When I married I began rescuing them from shelters and pounds and finding them good homes. Sam and Dominique were two I took in and sheltered that made excellent pets I kept them to their final days. Hercules was different. Hercules was mine from the time he could leave his Mother and raised by me. One of many Shepherd I have owned but by far the one closest to my heart. He never let me take walks alone and made it his job to be at my side every step of the way. He was a great dog both inside and out. Protective and loyal as well as friendly and lovable. I shall miss him very much.

He passed during Christmas night sleeping peacefully on his couch.
I shall miss him ever so much as will the whole family.
