Ok first this actually happened.
Second no its not funny because yes someone could have been hurt, while at the same time it is kinda funny.
Lastly if your gonna be an ass or be obnoxious don't waste your time i will just delete the comments you make anyway.
Well let me start by saying I am not a bad parent and this is something that i never dreamed could happen to me. I try my best to teach my children right from wrong and i normally have no trouble other then the normal "he's touching me" kinda stuff and standard trouble boys get into. I have no idea what possessed my child to do what you are about to read but its here just to show you what can happen even when you try to raise your kids right.
ok yesterday my wife decided to be nice and let me sleep in...while i was sleeping, my son was playing video games, and my wife ran out into the garage to get a box of stuff to unpack we are still kinda moving in.Well my son decided that he would climb up on the counter and grab my car keys.He proceded to go and unlock the deadbolted front door and out he went.Well he got in the car and started it up popped it into drive and hit my dads truck, bending the bumper of the truck. He then put it in reverse backed across the street and hit a neighbors trash can.Next he pulled forward again pulled into another neighbors yard and hit a tree.Still persistant he tried reverse yet again and hit a womans parked car Basicaly he t-boned her in reverse, causing damage to her passanger door, front quarter panel and tire. After that he got it in drive again and drove about half way down the block until he veered off the road and hit a persons front yard lightbroke it completely. He then put it in reverse and backed across the street into another yard where a woman happened to see him and got him out of the car and she walked him home and told me what happened. She also said that when she said she would walk him home he replied "Can't I drive it home?"
Have i mentioned yet that the shild in question is 4 years old?
Needless to say the day was eventfull and the police and insurance agents couldn't help but laugh. I especially liked the dispatchers laughter when the officer on scene called in and said "I need the driving status of...ummm ah 4 year old" i heard the dispatcher respond get varification and then laugh...i am betting she fell out of her chair. The insurance agents said that they had never dealt with a claim as unusual as mine.
Well when all was said and done everyone was fine all damages will be taken care of and everyone in the neighborhood seems to have had a good laugh. Even the people who had damage were more concerned with his welfare then the damage.
Well he will have plenty of time to think about it all as he now has no video games and no tv in his room nor is he allowed to watch TV. his only toys left to play with are the learning ones. Hopefully he will learn a lesson.
I also figure i will save the police report and pictures of the damage and someday i will be able to tell my grandchildren "here look what daddy did" LOL
Remember even good parents have really bad days sometimes.
Damage to my car
Damage to dads truck
Damage to womans car
