Today was a dreary day. It rained for most of the morning, so I decided to stay in my pajamas until the afternoon. Breakfast was horrid, just absolutely disgusting because mom put me on a new high-fiber, soy protein diet. She says I have to lose 20 lbs by January or she isn't putting me in the family photos. BAH~!~ I would rather stick needles in my skin than to be underweight. I only weigh 130 lbs, but mom always seems to thing I am overweight.
I got up from the kitchen table to make myself a cup of warm tea, but mother says, "No darling, we musn't use cream or sugar in our tea today. You'll spoil your diet." I wanted to slap her so hard at that moment. The phone rang, and of course.... it was my dream guy~!~ Actually he is my brother Noah's best friend, whom I have had a crush on since I was twelve years old.
"Noah~!~ Come get it, it's Jesse~!~" I holler up at him.
He storms downstairs and snatches the phone from me. "Jade, don't answer to my friends anymore. We have caller ID," says Noah in a tone of voice that irritated me. I found a perfect comeback. "You're gonna be sorry for saying that one of these days when Jesse and I get married."
"Yeah, in your dreams fat ass," he snaps back at me harshly. Noah's idea of a perfect woman is one who weighs one-hundred and ten pounds with a C cup breast. I ignore him and go into the living room to watch my favorite television shows.
****** I fell asleep while watching something I had never seen before. That was odd because I never fall asleep while watching television. As I stood up out of the chair, dizziness overtook my head. I start to lie down, but vomit all over
our three thousand dollar furniture. Wow. Mom is going to be furious. Dad came in to see what was wrong with me. Apparantly I passed out so they called 911........
