I just saw a status that said, "I have the dick. I make the rules." Oh My Goodness! I about fell over laughing at such ridiculousness! First of all, this is the 21st Century. Women do have equal say in everything. Secondly, if you are talking about sex, ummm - I do not need a dick to feel pleased. In fact, rarely does a dick do it for me as rarely do men actually know how to use it. Not putting all men down, just the ones I have been with. But, we women have many means to please ourselves. Men need the pussy, not women need the dick as his status implies. It is truly to one with the pussy that holds the power. I am not trying to have a power struggle, as I truly believe in equal partnership, but I have seen so many cases, and I am talking older relationships - my mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, great-grandparents etc, where on surface it looked as if the man ruled, but truly it was the woman who ruled the family. That guy is nuts to think he makes the rules. He was a younger guy - I think 27 or so - wait until he really starts living. What a joke.

So, I just saw this status on some guy’s profile that
said, “If you have an equal sign avatar, you’re a douche.” Really? Does he
really want to go there? In 1215 with the Magna
Carta, we have our first documentation of civil rights. Here we are, 800
years and many renditions later, and the LGBT community still does not have the same rights as so many
humans across the world. This is not a lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender
issue. GET OVER IT!! It is a HUMAN RIGHTS issue. It does not concern you
personally. It is not going to harm you in any way. It does not take away any
of your rights. I saw a poster once and I loved it. On the top part were people
protesting same-sex marriage. On the bottom half were people protesting blacks
and whites going to schools together – they wanted segregation to stay. It
said, “50 years from now, do you want your face on this newspaper page?” Now we
look back at all the ignorant asses who were so awful throughout US history
towards blacks and Native Americans, YET is that not what Americans (in
general) are doing EXACTLY TODAY to the LGBT community? WHY? Because they fear
the unknown. "Oh my goodness – they are going to turn our kids, our grandkids,
our very beings gay!!!! Run for the hills!!!" WTF? It is not a disease! It is
not a choice, despite what many ignorant people may think. Who would
ever CHOOSE to be laughed at, ostracized from society – from their families
even, and treated like 3^rd rate citizens?

Not sure what the equal sign means?

Dan Milano reports – “They’re popping up on Facebook news feeds around the
nation, but without much explanation. Just what are those red equal-sign
Facebook profile pictures all about? Look no further than the Human Rights
Campaign [HRC], an organization in support of gay marriage that is running a
particularly successful social media initiative as the Supreme Court discusses
the issue over the next two days. In a Facebook post today, the HRC asked
gay marriage supporters to “paint the town red,”
wearing red in their wardrobe as well on their Facebook pages, changing profile
photos over to the HRC “=” logo. The idea has even caught the eyes of Congress,
with 13 members showcasing the symbol, according to Ryan Beckwith.”

Now – quit being a bigoted jerk (to the one who had that on his profile) and for others, I hope you will think
hard about your stance on the issue.

I am Nothing

I am nothing: 1. No thing; not anything; naught 2. Emptiness 3. Something that is nonexistent 4. Nonexistence; nothingness 5. Something or someone of no importance or significance

Shutout –no longer a part of sister’s life - no longer a part of nieces’ and nephew’s life

Insignificant – told by sister life is not significant enough to bother with - not to let her know what is going on in life - am not

Obliteration –had true love – 7 months after break-up still love him –he obliterated the love

Zero - work has determined zero contact with coworkers and students

Extinction – special education students will no longer remember even existed in their lives

Void – feel huge voids in life for others- they do not feel voids in theirs’ - am really a void? Or just a void in cosmic space?

Crumb–things swept away and thrown in the garbage - many in life have done just that– swept away and thrown in the garbage – forgetting even exist

Not Anything –not anything past special people want back in their lives - no matter how bad long for it

What do I long for?

I long to be a something –

I long to be important in my family’s lives - every one of them

I long to make a difference in my students' lives

I long to love and be loved

I long to be a somebody -

But I am nothing

Hating life

Not happy with men in general

Sick and tired of men being cruel to women, esp. those they supposedly love

Sick of men treating me like a piece of meat or something to use and discard

Not sure what the hell is wrong with me

Why no one wants to take the time to get to know me

Wondering if I will ever be happy or if I am destined to be miserable for the rest of my life

Considering becoming a hermit

Seriously

Hate leaving my apartment and seeing all the hate and nastiness in the world

Men are not alone with this cruelty

Women are the same; it’s just not at me

Well, actually some are, just not relationship wise

Women are catty as hell

Not sure why people just can’t be nice to each other

Do what they promise

Say what they mean and mean what they say

Just be what God had intended

Humans who take care of one another

After all, that is why He created Eve

To be a companion to Adam

For them to help take care of each other

That is what He intended

Not to be nasty or hateful to each other

Not hurt each other

Jesus teaches us to love one another

Don’t see that going on in the world

See little of that actually

The world saddens me

Yes, He gave us free will

We are allowed to do and be how we want

Am not a perfect human by any stretch of the imagination

Try my hardest to be kind to every one

Try to follow the commandments

Try to follow the ways Jesus taught us

Do not judge others for the decisions or their beliefs

But am saddened by them

Am hurt by those that effect myself, my family, or my friends

But mainly, just want to hide from it all
