well i started drinkin when most kidz were still playin in the sand box... i was prolly 5 or 6 when i started stealin my first beers... my folks would go over to a friends and skeet shoot, while the adults were down shootin some of us kids were up by the house gettin cups of beer out of the keg... this went on for a few years till my father quit drinking... i still drink but switched to hard liquor cuz that was all that was in the house... when i was a freshman in collage i alreadyknew i was an alcholic but didn;t care, shortly after that i had my first dui... i was trippin on acid and drank bout a case of beer, was headin to the woodstock reunion in 1997... i drove down a road that didn;t exist and rolled my car... that was the accident that landed me in the marine corps.. i came home on leave one weekend and was in the pocono's driving around got my second dui, luckily it was a friends dad that arrested me and since i was a service member he let me go the next mornin.. all the rest of my dui's came down in north carolina... first one was out in town. don;t really remember that one too good. the second was on cherry point air station. my old platoon sarge called the MP's on me, they pulled me over in front of the general's building. 2 weeks after that i was checked into the navel hospitol on base, roughly 2 hours after i quit drinking they took my blood, my BAC was .386 , they released me the next mornin around 11 and my BAC was still .150. keep in mind i had just turned 21 a month before this.. shorty after that i finished u my time in the marines. went to long island and lived for about 4 months and desides city life wasn;t for me so back to NC i go... i was driving a 73 renault stationwagon by now and well the car naturally swayed 6 lanes either way... one fo the few nites i thougth i gave myself enought ime to drive after drinking... i found ot i was wrong... when i blew it was a .09, just .01 over the limit the cop was cool tried to go slow so i could get the level down by the time ihad to blow again. but it didn't go down... then my last dui i got was cuz i was runnin a bad tag with an out of date inspection. so the third dui in NC landed me in prison for about 7 months, a month in rehab, and about 4 months on parole. as soon as i got off parole i cam back to PA all they had on my record was underage drinkin one year suspension. so i did that and durin that time i had a choice do i wanna drink or do i wanna drive... well drivin is definatly more important then drinking so i quit that was august 24, 2003. but just cuz i quit drinking doesn;t mean i stopped goin to bars and parties... now i just use it as a reminder why i quit...
