My Daughters Come First

Please forgive me my love but my daughters come first.

Being in love with you and needing you has my heart roaring to burst.

But the feelings I have for two little ladies so pure.

Wanting their daddy in their lives and nothing more.

So if there is a choice that I must make I will not have their lives at stake.

I can not allow that to ever happen to them.

My emotional feelings will never go dim.

In love with you, yes I am. But I can not leave them out on the land.

Innocent young bystanders knowing nothing about life.

And losing their daddy would be a hell of a price.

They are my heart, my joy, my gifts from the Lord.

I would rather hang myself with an extension cord!

Or rip my heart out and look at it with a stare!

Then feed it to a lion, a tiger or a bear.

The feelings I have for two little ladies so pure.

Wanting their daddy in their lives and nothing more.

Yes, they are safe for now with their mom so far away.

But what if their mother is starting to stray?

Should I sit back and wait for what might occur?

Or should I act on the first chance I get and let destiny stir?

Yes my dear I am in love with you.

With all of my heart and my emotions too.

But if there is a chance for me to save my little girls lives.

I must take this chance and never think twice.

The feelings I have for two little ladies so pure.

Wanting their daddy in their lives and nothing more.

If it is with another that this must be.

Then I will accept this deal to set them free.

To be happy with daddy and quenching their thirst.

For it will always be that my daughters come first.

But if it’s with my dream girl I do swear.

That we will have the best of times all through the year.

You my love and my daughters too together doing the things we will do.

A joy to behold a special wish, wrapped in a bow and tied with a kiss.

My daughters, me, and my dream girl.

A combination made to take on the world.

My daughters will be happy this I guarantee.

With their daddy in their lives they too will be free.

All of their needs and wants will be met.

And their daddy will no longer have any regrets.

My dream girl has been an angel to me, and has the ability to set us all free.

Her inspiration alone has awaken my thoughts,

and given me hope of a brand new start.

But two little ladies my heart always ache for.

Wanting their daddy in their lives and nothing more.

To be happy with daddy while quenching their thirst.

For you all know now that my daughters come first.
