What are you waiting for?

So far, since coming to Texas, I'm sad to say that I've been disappointed. I have yet to meet any of the CT Texans who promised to hang out with me since I moved from New York back in October. So, this morning, I tried something different. I went to the infamous craigslist.org site, visited the Dallas section, and browsed the Casual Encounters section there, just to see what I'd find. There were your average postings that were very obviously fake: the dead giveaway was a headline like "Soft and smooth Asian woman looking for a fling - w4m". Not that I know any Asian women, but I have yet to meet any horny ones in Dallas, especially with an obvious professional porn shot attached... and a link to a website. I used the community-moderated "flag as spam" feature and moved on. I eventually happened on a headline from January 5, called "Does everyone shave? - w4m - 28 (Richardson)". Opening the message, it said how she didn't find "shaved" men a turn-on; she liked the natural look. She revealed in the same message that she was "trim and neat." I thought back to 1993. I was a senior in high school, and I had gotten together with a girl whose nether regions were covered by... a twisted, tangled, uncombed forest (thank goodness I saw no wildlife). I made a comment about it. I thought the comment would have turned her off, but two weeks later, I was pleased to see a more trimmed-down "her." I gave some thought to it over the years. I'm not a stud by any means of the imagination, but most of the women I've been with are bald where it counts. One or two kept something there, either in a "landing strip" style (one girl's description; she says she kept some there to show men that she is a natural redhead), or just enough to make sure nothing peeked out of the sides of anything sheer she might have been wearing. One woman I spoke to back when we were still LostCherry said that she prefers to keep her private area clean-shaven, unless the man she is dating says otherwise. "I don't want a forest," she commented. I wrote the Craig's List person back. My response to her (at least I hope she's a "her") was brief (pardon the pun):
Hi. I wasn't aware that so many men were bare down there - I thought that was just a woman thing. Nothing wrong with being neat and trim, as long as you don't choke your partner with a forest or something. Comments?
My past experiences with CL weren't stellar. In NYC, it usually resulted in some argumentative psychopath's wrath through AIM. That is, if I got a response at all. I'll keep you posted. Who knows? Maybe I'll actually have someone to hang out with on my days off, instead of wishing I did.
