Hello Friends...
I'm writin' this to let You know what's been goin' on with Me lately ....
First off I will give You some background of My back cuz that's what it's all about....So You'll understand......
In Jan of 2007 ...I was startin to go down My stairs in My house...I had socks on My feet and a long sleeve sleep shirt on ( and Yes I had sleep pants on too ) as I went to take a step off the top stair My sleeve got caught on the railin' and My socks made My feet slip off the top stair which thru Me off blanance ...I was in a downward motion...My feet went up in the air...as My sleeve caught on the railin' and was slidin' down the rail as I was fallin' and bouncin' down 8 stairs on the lower part of My back...the only thing that stopped Me from hittin the bottom of the stairs was My top was now stranglin Me...as the sleeve got caught on the part of the railin that holds the railin to the wall......Well Can We OUCH...anyways I went to the Dr's and had test's and they found the L5-L4 dics were blown and also the S1 nerve was pinched...So I went thru a few things before surgery...Had surgery June 2007......I did real good with that surgery and recovery...except......My I had no feelin' in My feet.....
6 weeks later......I was outside checkin' on My dogs...2 of them were in a fight...I got one of them out of the back yard cuz I saw some blood on Her ear...as I started to walk back to the back door...which I have to go up 4 brick stairs...My foot hit the stair and tripped Me and down I went on the concret on My belly.....I couldn't get up...Good thing My son was here at the time...He came and got Me up and in the house......I was in a lot of pain again...so back to the DR's I go...more tests......they found out I blew out the L3 L2 dics...well I had to wait a year before they could do surgery on Me again......So for a year I lived with the pain......so June of 2008 I had My 2nd back surgey....this time they did L3-L2 and went and put 2 steele rods in My back that connect to the top of L2 to the bootom of L5.....Well this sugery left Me beddridden for 4 years......I had to learn to walk and sit all over again....had no feelin' in My legs & feet.....the Dr said I will most likely be this was the rest of My life......anyways.....it's taken Me 2 years to get to where I am now....a long long road....and a whole lot of Prayer's (Thank God).....
Dec 2008...I had neck surgery...I thik it was C7 or it was C8
Feb 2013...I fell again down the stair to My bedroom...I didn't think it was a very bad fall...all I did was slip and went down a couple of stair not very hard,but anyways....the one Dr I went to see cuz My back Dr moved to Jackson which is a hour and half to two hour drive away from Me now.....looked at Me and just sent Me to physcial thyrapy ...I went thru 5 weeks of that (ended the end of May)......but I still had pain in My back....than bout a week later the pain went down My legs and started gettin' worse....
June 2013...I go see My reg Dr....to see what He has to say....He say's sounds like Your sciatic nerve.....gives Me some meds and say's lets see if this will heal on it's self....
July 2013....I go back to reg Dr....tell Him it's gettin' worst....He orders a MRI....
Aug 7 2013....I went to Have the MRI....
Aug 9 2013...I get the results....Not Good....My L1 disc is blown which is pressin down on the steele rods which is compressin' the sciatic nevers which is makin' the pain in My legs and My hands go numb....and the L1 is why I'm in so much pain in My back cuz it's pressin down on the rods in My back......Well I called Jackson to get ahold of the Dr that did the two back surgeries and My neck surgery.....He wasn't in Friday...so I'm waitin to hear back from Him to set up a appointment to see him...and set up most likely another back surgery....I'm not sure what all this one will pretant too...as I'm not sure if He will have to do anything with the rods......
I am kinda scared & affraid at this time...as I still have the second surgery after affects still strongly in Me.....You have a operation and they say everything went Good...than afterward You can't walk or sit and haven't any feelin' in You legs or feet and You are now bedridden.....
Thank You for taken the time to readin' this...I will keep You updated....I know it was kinda long I tried to keep it short.....
P.S....Anyone interested in buyin a House (LOL).....it's has lot's of stairs inside and outside....it's not recommented for anyone that has no feelin' in their feet (Laughs)

I got a appointment to go see My Dr in Jackson...it's Sept 11th...He's the Dr that has done all My Back Surgeries and My neck surgery...I have to bring the MRI disc with Me...so I'm sure We will most likely be settin' up the surgery date and discussin' what all He needs to do in this surgery...I will keep You updated...Thank You For All Your Prayers...Hugs
Sept 11th...I went to see My Dr in Jackson...His 1st words outta His mouth was SURGERY...than He proceceed to tell Me He wanted to do it Now before it does permenate damage to Me...other wise make Me paralized...so I agreed to surgery...so I signed the papers...now I'm waitin' for them to call Me with the date of the surgery & pre-op & cat scan...Which all this will be with-in the next 2 weeks...as soon as I get the date I will post it.....Hugs
Sept 17th...got the phone call this mornin'...Surgery date will be Sept 30th...if everything is alright for the surgery...I think I will be in the hospital 4-7 days He really didn't much more than that...it all depends on if He has to do anything with My rods...I will post more as soon as I get it...Hugs
Sept 20th...Dr's called this mornin'...confirmin' Surgery date...insurance has ok'd it...everythings a GO...Sept 30th @ 6 am...also they will be doin' 2 precessurarse ...the L1 and also something with the nervers ...say's it will be a 4 hour plus surgery....Please Keep Me In Your Thoughts & Prayers....Hugs
