This ten piece funk band is known for 'theme' album covers that have a drawing featuring members of the band in character on the outside, and a photo of a similar scene inside the record or CD. Who was the group? Remember the answers must be posted here to be considered a winner, first to answer correctly wins.

~~Little Dick TomTom~

@ CherryTAP The group is Lakeside and they are best known for their song "Fantastic Voyage" remade by Coolio in the early 90's

I was born in 1911, I am a blues man that is more famous dead than I am alive. I was made famous by the non blues musicians who have recorded my music and even a movie was made about the "legend" of my life. The mystery of my death in 1938 still surrounds blues scholars but only I know what happened. Dead men tell no tales. I love these two part questions. 1. Who am I? 2. What was the name of the movie made about the "legend" that surrounded my life? Only answers posted on the blog will count and the first answer wins........good luck.

@ CherryTAP The answer is Robert Johnson and the movie is Crossroads. I used the term "legend" meaning story or fable. Good Job Maximus!

This 80's pop band took their name from a 1960's Jane Fonda movie. Again, a two part question: What was the movie? Who was the band? Have at it! *Remeber you have to answer here on the blog and you have to answer both parts to win.

Diva & Daddy

@ CherryTAP The movie is Barbarella and the group is Duran Duran

Willie Nelson, Lars Ulrich, Alice Cooper and Huey Lewis are all proficient in one particular sport. However, one of these men plays a sport different than the other 3. This is a two part question and both parts must be answered correctly to win. Part 1: Who plays a different sport and what is it? Part 2: What sport do the other 3 have in common?

@ CherryTAP Willie, Alice and Huey all play golf while Lars plays tennis
This is super simple and I hope proves to be lots of fun. Everyday, at different times, I will post a music triva question. Most of the time it will be lyrics. If it's a lyric question you must comment the blog with the name of the song, artist and YEAR it was made. No exceptions. I will check back and close commenting when I have a right answer. Comments to my shout box or inbox don't count, all answers must be submitted on the blog. If it's just a trivia question, then answer it correctly and go from there. I will send the person who answers it a gift based on the difficulty of the question. I have a box of trivia cards that I will be using, in case of a dispute, what the card says goes. If you prove my card to be wrong via another source, then I'll gift you too. Now that's fair. I'll post the first question later today. **Note: I have a very wide range of music knowledge and taste's so don't get discouraged but this may make you work a bit. If you are not on my friends list, you might want to be so you don't miss the bulletin or alert when the new questions are posted.
Okay, this is a lyric question, that means I want the name of the artist, song and year it was released. "I lived most of my life in New York City Born and raised in the promised land One day this man in black said, "Listen Jack" Told me I was chosen to kiss the ring on his hand He said "Kindly reconsider the sins of your past" And I said "Mister you can kindly kiss my ass"'
