Phil the Philosopher's blog: "moving to florida"

This is my first blog on fubar, but I'm not new to blogging. On myspace I write lots of blogs as some of you may know. I'm still relatively new to fubar, so I'm trying to explore and see exactly what the potential of fubar is and how it functions. I do like the fact that it is more interactive than myspace. I just wanted some of you to know that I'm in the middle of moving from Pennsylvannia to Florida. I will be living in the city of New Port Richey. I love my new pad, and I love my new adopted city. It is a clean city with lots of sunshine, and there seems to be a lot of people and action here, so I'm sure I'll have no problem adjusting and fitting in. I drove a rental truck down here and got most of my possesions in my new place, and I'm happy that that went smoothly. The ride down was an adventure, and at times was a bit hairy because I'm not used to driving a truck that was that size. I'm writing this entry from my stepfather's computer. My mother, stepfather, and sister have been a real help and have been instrumental in me making this move. They all have lived in Florida for a number of years now, and they are very happy down here. Eventually I will be staying permanetely in my new place. I'm flying back to Philadelphia on Tuesday to pickup my volkswagon and computer and to take care of some loose ends up north, and then I will be driving back down to Florida again to stay. I'm looking forward to meeting new people in my new hometown. I'm single so I will especially be looking to meet new women in the area. I'm also a musician, so I'll be looking to meet other musicians in the area as well. I had to say goodbye to my bandmates up north sadly. After living in an apartment for the last 2 years, I'm so happy to be able to play my drums again....it's been very difficult to look at my beautiful Ludwig drum set gather dust for the last 2 years and being unable to play them due to the noise factor. But thank god that's all in the past now. Besides being a creative musician I also love to write, so there will be a lot more blogs to come. later!
