| Recently, my mother in law lost her apartment (her own fault, beer was more important that bills, not a fire or anything like that). She is staying with a friend of ours and is constantly involved in and causing arguments at this persons house. The last 2 weekends she stayed here because of these arguments and has caused unnecessary friction in our house and refuses to follow 1 simple rule of no alcohol (I'm a recovered alcoholic, so I don't want to see booze) in my house (she also gets very nasty when drinking). I told her this weekend we needed a break from her, and shes giving me grief for my decision. So should I let her stay even though she won't follow the house rules or should I make her stay where she is. |
