| I know that this has been covered before at one point but...what if you are the custodial parent of a 4yr old boy and a 2yr old girl and both of the kids do not like to talk on the phone...more importantly they do not even like to talk to their father on the phone but this goes with any call and not just his calls...Their father however, says that it hurts him to have to hear his kids say that they do not want to talk to him so he stops calling. He lives 17hrs away and I have many of times asked him when does he want to see the kids but he claims that he can not afford to have them for even just a couple of weeks. The web cam thing is prob not going to work because it is almost impossible to get thru to him about what is most important to the kids, and that is to have their father in their life. So my question is, do you think that any contact on the phone is right even though the kids do not like to talk on the phone? Their father claims that by having them talk on the phone as such, I am forcing the kids to do something they do not want to do...I just do not know what to think at this point. |
