Last night, I had my friends Kelly, Jimmy, Lisa and Chad up for supper. I made turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and green beans. After we ate another so called friend named Charles stopped by for awhile. When Chad left, I asked Charles to go get Tigger so she would not run out the door. He went to pick her up because another friend was leaving and I didn't want her to run off. Well Tigger either got scared or something and scratched him. Well instead of bringing her to me, he held her up as high as he could by the back of her neck and she was hissing and growling, I told him to bring her to me but he didn't listen. He threw her on the floor really hard and she bounced off the floor. There is cement under the tile. Then he came over and sat down and I told him he didn't need to throw my cat. he should of brought her to me like i told him too. He said well she hurt me. I told him that he needs to leave. He then kicked a huge whole in my fan. I got on the phone and called 911. He then picked the fan up and threw it at me and broke the handle off and the nob. As far as I know Tigger is fine. I know she is sore because she whines when I pet her. I do not know if she was just scared or what but she pissed all over my friends dvd cases. She has never done that before. I am going to keep a close eye on her. If I have to, I will take her to the vet and make him pay for the vet bill. I do not know if I should of pressed the charges and gave him the ticket after all. The only reason I didn't is because I know he is on disability and can not afford it. If he comes around here without being invited, I will call the cops again and have them charge him with trespassing. I do not think I have ever been as scared as I was last night.
UPDATE
I took Tigger to the vet on Friday morning since she was still really sore. The vet told me that she has a slipped disk in her back. I am glad that there was no internal bleeding or a more serious injury. She should of not been injured at all. When I called the police about them pressing the charges, the officer I talked to said that if I wanted the vet bill to be paid by Charles it would not be beneficial for him to get a $375 disorderly ticket also. I am going to contact a lawyer on Monday to find out what they say. Something needs to be done so this does not happen again. Charles has agreed to pay for the vet bill but I am still contacting a lawyer. I figure if he is willing to do this to my cat, then what is he doing to his. Tigger seems to be doing ok since she was giving 2 different shots for pain. She is still really scared and will not let anyone touch her. I just pray that she goes back to her normal loving self soon.
