I listen to music and experience music on a cognitive and creative level that most don't even aspire to. Music is more than art and more than language. It is perhaps the purest form of expression. Music is the only mistress I have ever kept that has not broken my heart so it seems cruel to limit her in any way.
Wish to know bands that I like? Alright Here: Blotted Science, Dimmu Borgir, Neurosis, Bad Religion, Terry Reid, Steve Von Till, Opeth, Beethoven, J.S. Bach, Claude Debussy, John Cage, Tool, Cannibal Corpse, Arcturus, and many more composers and performers you have never heard of.
This arbitrary list still does nothing but put up boundaries. What don't I like? Music that does not aspire to express something. Music that is focused on money or sex or the acquisition of either. Music that is recycled or imitated and uninspired. Music is the way I connect to all things and I consider it an insult to its power when others abuse it so.
These are tracks from the first album of my solo project, The Reticent. I'd say "Hey, tell me what you think." But we both know you won't. If you do listen at the least, I thank you and appreciate you taking the time.
I tip my cap to you then and am honored you have not become so bored as to depart this portal of the internet.
It would go without saying at this point that music, its performance, its composition, and its study are chief among my interests.
Sexuality is of large interest to me but not in the way you may think. I seek to perfect the art of sexuality. I have written about the subject, studied it, and approach it both from the sensual and intellectual angle. Paramount in my study and interest is oral sex - in particular, cunnilingus.
Philosophy is inextricable from my personality. I question all things and enjoy thinking and debating. Ethics, morality, and religion are among my favorite subjects to banter about.
Intellectualism is not an interest but a fact of my life. Striving to hone the mind to work harder and think faster is a duty to oneself. Though, I do realize I am rather alone in that feeling perhaps.
