I have to go to court, against my previous employer, in less than 2 months and today, I received a check for a little over $100.00 and I don't know what it is for. I called my lawyer, to see if I should cash it but she hasn't returned my call yet. My settlement is for a seriously larger amount than that. Should I cash the check now or wait until my lawyer calls.
