When you start to cry about things that are funny
And laugh at things that are sad
I’d go ten to one on barrowed money
that your mind is going mad
I can feel closed in when I’m all alone
Or feel lonely in a crowd
You can’t feel full in an empty home
And the silence gets real loud
Go take a walk is the doctor’s talk
Get your chemicals in line
But my shoes are worn and my mind still torn
And I’m running out of time
Guess I should kick up my heels and take those pills
It’s different for everyone
Its baby steps with no time to rest
On this long road to having fun.
