Mistakes

They say you are the mistakes that you make.

Putting your whole family’s lives at stake.

In something that you really believe.

Not knowing you are only being deceived.

 

Trying to stay in touch with your soul,

to find the truth to you was never told.

A mistake you now have to try to explain.

While your heart and soul are weeping in shame.

 

Human we are and human we will be.

No matter what you may believe.

God is love, love is in our hearts.

A part of us we have had from the start.

 

Your heart is a part of your soul and mind.

The three of them can make you go blind.

If you allow your emotions to take a part.

Your thinking will lead you to believe with all your heart.

 

A letter comes to you in your name, and ask if you have a little time to lend.

A USA representative this company needs.

To collect much money from our USA deeds.

Our clients checks will come to you in your name,

and ten percent is what you may lay claim.

Of the total check and sent us the rest,

if you accept our need as our USA rep.

 

You think to yourself could this be real?

Ten percent of the total deal?

An easy ways to make a living,

had to have come from the Lord and thanks for giving.

 

Your next move is to check and see

If this truly is what you believe.

Your mind has entangled your thoughts

and caused you to believe in this deal a lot.

 

You make up business cards with the company logo.

With your picture and name just below.

From the information you now know,

you sent an email to the clients who owe.

 

A few days later a check arrives

for thirty eight thousand dollars and you almost die.

At ten percent you will be paid,

three thousand eight hundred dollars you just made.

 

Now you must open a bank account for real,

it is the only way you can close this deal.

 As you wait for the check to clear

a second check arrives and you say oh dear!

 

Seventy nine thousand nine hundred dollars.

At ten percent you give a mighty holler.

A blessing is all you can say,

Thank God for this gift it must be his way.

 

Now you have a chance to achieve all the help your family needs.

 A car and a home is now on your mind.

And two little ladies who will be doing just fine.

 

But in time you learn the whole truth

as your heart is ripped from out of it’s roots.

The checks were fake as the bank calls,

casting your whole life down a water fall.

 The banks want nothing to do with you now.

For they believe you tried to bring them down.

 

You allowed your emotions to take part,

in believing in this deal from the very start.

 

There are many things that can come your way,

even when you pray every day.

The devil will always test you, for it is his world we live in too.

 

You have made a mistake and you believe

that it wasn’t your fault for you were being deceived.

Is this not a sin you tell yourself again and again?

But it is all in your mind that you now pretend.

 

A choice you made caused you to wonder,

and it came down on you like mighty thunder.

Crushed all of your hopes and dreams

and left you dazed in your mind it now seems.

 

Human we are and human we will be.

No matter what you may believe.

God is love, love is in our hearts.

A part of us we have always had from the very start.

 

There is another way that your emotional side,

will find a way for you to tell a lie.

And never think about the law,

when your emotional thinking becomes involved.

 

For in your heart love will always start.

When a small child becomes a part.

Someone you care very deeply for,

will lead you right into a store.

 

Up and down the lanes you will explore,

while taking your little one on a grand tour.

You need food and other things.

For in your home you are the king.

Knowing you only have just enough,

to get the things that you know that you must.

 

To find in time when you get out of line.

That your child has just committed a crime.

Your child gets away free and clear.

No cops, no police, nothing to fear.

Is this mistake you just made not a sin?

For not turning your little loved one in?

 

Many situations will arise in your life.

That will cause you to always think twice.

When the love you have in your heart is giving.

You will always be the one who is forgiving.

 

Human we are and human we will be.

No matter what you may believe.

If you truly believe in what you see.

Then you too, can be deceived.
