I can't fucking stand how people who listen to metal say shit like "I like Metallica, well only old Metallica.," or "I only like it when Maiden plays their old songs." Half of these retards are dumb fucking kids who weren't even born when Kill Em All or Ride the Lightning came out. What the fuck do you know about Metal? Yeah ya 'douche bag/one step away from being an emo dork' metal poser, just cause you like only old Metallica you have sooooo much fucking credibility...The Metal community is one of the worst for fuckin loving each other and than on a dime, fuckin shunning a band or a fan for liking something or trying something different. Its lame. To quote Bruce Dickinson "Once punk was born it was dead." I love Slayer. But every album is the same. And no I don't want a ballad by them. Dead Skin Mask is as close as I ever want them to get to a love song. However, if Slayer ever tried to do something different from what they do, there would be a goddamn outrage. "They sold out man blah blah blah I used to like tem when they did Reign in Blood and South if Heaven." A musician has a resposibility to themseleves as an artist and a fan should respect that, no matter what style of music really, and that means breaking the template they are in every once in a while. Trying to be creative. HELLO, anyone remember AC/DC and The Rolling Stones? It gets boring after 20 years doin the same thing. Douche bags. And most metal nowadays is fuckin gay anyways.
