Mental Act I Scene IV...the nightmare
(a recreation of the dark alley in the opening scene of a nightmare on elm street I
Zeda is walking through the alley)
Zeda: Hello?..... Hello?
(exactly like NOES, )
(Zeda looks behind her and sees freddy kruger and starts to run. he chases her into a house where an african american woman and a biracial little girl are sitting to lunch in front of the tv where WWF is being viewed)
Zeda: Mom MOM help me he is going to kill me
(they ignore her, zeda moves in front of the TV and starts screaming)
Zeda: (Screaming) MOM MOM PLEASE HELP ME
(freddy looks on from the doorway)
(Zeda's Voice now muted attempts to scream for her mothers help freddy comes up behind her and grabs her neck)
Freddy: They cant hear you, You dont exist
(Zeda again Mouths the word MOM as freddy stabbs her in the stomach)
(Zeda is breathing heavily when she notices, her sheats are wet... she has wet the bed)
Zeda: Oh fuck
(Zeda looks around to make sure her roommates are still asleep, takes off her pajama bottoms and strips the sheets off her bed and carries them outside to the hall where the night staff are sleeping)
Zeda: Excuse me (To a short African American woman with glasses) I dont want you to think the wrong thing, this usually never happens, it must be the strange bed or something
Night staff I: You wet the bed?
Zeda: yea
Night Staff: (Sighs) Come on, I'll get you a change of sheets.
The start to two walk down the hall
Night Staff: If this happens again we are goign to have to switch you to a rubber mattress
Zeda: Yes mam, It wont though, i swear
