In my not so distant past, I was a Mother Trucker. I still have my Cdl and I still long to drive up and down the beautiful places across our country.

Montana is still to me the absolute gorgeous place to be. Colorado comes in second.

The Carolinas make this list also.

The Great Smoky mountains in a misty morning will stir something in your soul as well.

I have been to every continous state. I have been to Canada, and on the border with Mexico enough times to see ,that you have to get further than the border to appreciate anything about Mexico at all.

I literally have met thousands of people from all walks of life. And to me thats all good.

I am one of those who are fascinated about the differences in people as well as our common similarities.

It takes all kinds to bring balance to this world.  While I was out on the road I was exposed to subcultures that thrive off of the trucker trade.

Black market this and that, theft,drugs, porn and prostitution. AHHH...the Lot lizards. Sleeper creepers....truck stop whores.

Anyone with a cb and has been close enough to a city with it on at night, knows what I am talking about."Take it up to 35 for some commercial company" Ect Ect Ect

I wrote a mini book about my life out there on the road. I had spent from 1995 to 2003 out there turning 18 wheels.

One particular chapter I dedicated and wrote about the women and unfortunetly, children who make the choice..sometimes unwillingly to sell their souls along with their bodies for drugs and a few measly dollars.

I befriended a few of those girls. In Oklahoma city alone if I get on the radio, and if they arent dead and gone or moved on...they will holler back.

They know who I am. I cant make fun of them or get into a great moral debate with them over their actions....We ALL whore ourselves out for something.

Husbands and wives whore themselves out to each other for the security life provides. We whore our minds and manual labor out daily for the Friday paycheck.

On the weekends we doll up to attract the opposite sex.

We put ourselves out there, like they do,  hoping for the "payoff" in something we need and want.

I just dont have to have a mattress strapped to my back in order to get it.

 Today is thursday..and the urban sleeper creepers come out and walk my street at night. I look out my window and I can "hear" their stories.

They arent much different than the ones I listened too across America.

The ones that break my heart are the 10 year old with her mom...turning tricks to survive

. Youll never save the daughter. She will never be a child.

If nothing else, maybe someone will take them to Nevada...where its legal and regulated.

Then the mom can make more money and take her baby off the streets and give her a better life.

But thats wishful thinking.

I miss Phoenix at midnight at the Flyin J truckstop,

Missoula Montana anytime day or night.

Santa Nella California at the Andersons for pea soup.

Carson California at the terminal.

Oklahoma city for the reality check.

Seattle for the best coffee in the usa..

I'll be back out there someday.   Its in my blood.

But back to my here and now...with you...

Today I'm your whore.

I put myself out there for your comments and love if warranted.
