came in my email

i ususally do not forward these but was moved by the email and i did forward and shared it here, if u are so moved u can do the same http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PsCsDeMw4s http://www.presstv.ir/watch_live.aspx http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8jw-ifqwkM If you want the real news, turn off your TV. America has gone from near the top to near the bottom of the list for accurate news reporting worldwide under the current administration. So as everyone in the know knows, you have to turn to the internet or news from other countries to get an honest take on world news. The first link is from one of our fighting men who deserves not only our prayers this holiday season, but 150% support from "We The People" all of the time ! The second link he posted and talked about it in his video, but Google (The owner of You Tube) tried to make it so average viewers could never view the link... Well guess what,.. I'm not average !So the second link is the one he wants all of us at home to watch, it's live TV online, not just a video clip.Titled:WW3 Just Started Israel attacks Palistine Civilianshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=- PsCsDeMw4s Live Footage http://www.presstv.ir/watch_live.aspx I've been thinking all week about sending:Happy Xmas (War Is Over) - by John Lennon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8jw-ifqwkM Around the block so we might all have more empathy for our soldiers as we pray for them, then go about our comparatively blessed days.. Granted it's close to 40 years old, but history repeats itself and will until humans worldwide learn to give peace, not war a chance to be the future of mankind. I didn't send it before now knowing how some of you might look at me for sending it out, but was compelled today to do so by the first link in this email. We all have to decide if we want to berry our head in the sand, be informed, or get involved...So watch if you will and delete if you must, but I personally sleep better by at least trying to encourage education that I hope will in time lead to better understand, acceptance, and peace among all of mankind, after all... No matter what your personal spiritual and religious believes are...We are all sons and daughter of the one and only God !Peace to all !

Santa Claus

I remember my first Christmas adventure with Grandma. I was just a kid. I remember tearing across town on my bike to visit her. On the way, my big sister dropped the bomb: "There is no Santa Claus, "she jeered. "Even dummies know that!" My Grandma was not the gushy kind, never had been. I fled to her that day because I knew she would be straight with me. I knew Grandma always told the truth, and I knew that the truth always went down a whole lot easier when swallowed with one of her "world-famous" cinnamon buns. I knew they were world-famous, because Grandma said so. It had to be true. Grandma was home, and the buns were still warm. Between bites, I told her everything. She was ready for me. "No Santa Claus?" she snorted .... "Ridiculous! Don't believe it! That rumor has been going around for years, and it makes me mad, plain mad!! Now, put on your coat, and let's go." "Go? Go where, Grandma?" I asked. I hadn't even finished my second world-famous cinnamon bun. "Where" turned out to be Kerby's General Store, the one store in town that had a little bit of just about everything. As we walked through its doors, Grandma handed me ten dollars. That was a bundle in those days. "Take this money," she said, "and buy something for someone who needs it. I'll wait for you in the car." Then she turned and walked out of Kerby's. I was only eight years old. I'd often gone shopping with my mother, but never had I shopped for anything all by myself. The store seemed big and crowded, full of people scrambling to finish their Christmas shopping. For a few moments I just stood there, confused, clutching that ten-dollar bill, wondering what to buy, and who on earth to buy it for. I thought of everybody I knew: my family, my friends, my neighbors, the kids at school, the people who went to my church. I was just about thought out, when I suddenly thought of Bobby Decker. He was a kid with bad breath and messy hair, and he sat right behind me in Mrs. Pollock's grade-two class. Bobby Decker didn't have a coat. I knew that because he never went out to recess during the winter. His mother always wrote a note telling the teacher that he had a cough, but all we kids knew that Bobby Decker didn't have a cough; he didn't have a good coat. I fingered the ten-dollar bill with growing excitement. I would buy Bobby Decker a coat! I settled on a red corduroy one that had a hood to it. It looked real warm, and he would like that. "Is this a Christmas present for someone?" the lady behind the counter asked kindly, as I laid my ten dollars down. "Yes, ma'am," I replied shyly. "It's for Bobby." The nice lady smiled at me, as I told her about how Bobby really needed a good winter coat. I didn't get any change, but she put the coat in a bag, smiled again, and wished me a Merry Christmas. That evening, Grandma helped me wrap the coat (a little tag fell out of the coat, and Grandma tucked it in her Bible) in Christmas paper and ribbons and wrote, "To Bobby, From Santa Claus" on it. Grandma said that Santa always insisted on secrecy. Then she drove me over to Bobby Decker's house, explaining as we went that I was now and forever officially, one of Santa's helpers. Grandma parked down the street from Bobby's house, and she and I crept noiselessly and hid in the bushes by his front walk. Then Grandma gave me a nudge. "All right, Santa Claus," she whispered, "get going." I took a deep breath, dashed for his front door, threw the present down on his step, pounded his door and flew back to the safety of the bushes and Grandma. Together we waited breathlessly in the darkness for the front door to open. Finally it did, and there stood Bobby. Fifty years haven't dimmed the thrill of those moments spent shivering, beside my Grandma, in Bobby Decker's bushes. That night, I realized that those awful rumors about Santa Claus were just what Grandma said they were: ridiculous. Santa was alive and well, and we were on his team. I still have the Bible, with the coat tag tucked inside: $19.95. May you always have LOVE to share, HEALTH to spare and FRIENDS that care... And may you always believe in the magic of Santa Claus!
You're Confederate ... But Don't Know It? by Charley Reese Most of the political problems in this country won't be settled until more folks realize the South was right. I know that goes against the P.C. edicts, but the fact is that on the subject of the constitutional republic, the Confederate leaders were right and the Northern Republicans were wrong. Many people today even argue the Confederate positions without realizing it. For example, if you argue for strict construction of the Constitution, you are arguing the Confederate position; when you oppose pork-barrel spending, you are arguing the Confederate position; and when you oppose protective tariffs, you are arguing the Confederate position. But that's not all. When you argue for the Bill of Rights, you are arguing the Confederate position, and when you argue that the Constitution limits the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, you are arguing the Confederate position. One of the things that gets lost when you adopt the politically correct oversimplification that the War Between the States was a Civil War all about slavery is a whole treasure load of American political history. It was not a civil war. A civil war is when two or more factions contend for control of one government. At no time did the South intend or attempt to overthrow the government of the United States. The Southern states simply withdrew from what they correctly viewed as a voluntary union. They formed their own union and adopted their own constitution. The U.S. government remained intact. There were just fewer states, but everything else remained as exactly as it was. You can be sure that, with as much bitterness and hatred of the South that there was in the North, the Northerners would have tried Confederates for treason if there had been any grounds. There weren't, and the South's worst enemy knew that. Abraham Lincoln's invasion of the South was entirely without any constitutional authority. And it's as plain as an elephant in a tea party that Lincoln did not seek to preserve the Union to end slavery. All you have to do is read his first inaugural address. What Lincoln didn't want to lose was tax revenue generated by the South. As Northern states gained a majority in both houses, they began to use the South as a cash cow. Here's how it worked: Most Southerners who exported cotton bartered the cotton in Europe for goods. When the protective tariffs were imposed, that meant Southerners had to pay them. To make matters worse, the North would then use the revenue for pork-barrel projects in its states. The South was faced with either paying high tariffs and receiving no benefits from the revenue or buying artificially high-priced Northern goods. Southerners opposed pork-barrel spending. Their correct view was that, because the federal government was merely the agent of all the states, whatever money it spent should be of equal benefit. Their position on public lands was that they belonged to all the people and the federal government had no authority to give the lands away to private interests. Northerners had announced they would not be bound by the Constitution. What you had was the rise of modern nationalism fighting the original republic founded by the American Revolution. So, regardless of where you were born, you may be a Southerner philosophically. http://www.scvcamp469-nbf.com/youreconfederate.htm

A LITTLE EASY MATH

Once upon a time a man appeared in a village and announced to the villagers that he would buy donkeys for $10 each. The villagers, seeing that there were many donkeys around, went out and started catching them. The man bought thousands at $10 and, as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort. He next announced that he would now buy donkeys at $20 each. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching donkeys again. Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms. The offer increased to $25 each and the supply of donkeys became so scarce it was an effort to even find a donkey, let alone catch it! The man now announced that he would buy donkeys at $50 each! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would buy on his behalf. In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers: "Look at all these donkeys in the big cage that the man has already collected. I will sell them to you at $35 and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him for $50 each." The villagers rounded up all their savings and bought all the donkeys for 700 billion dollars. They never saw the man or his assistant again, only lots and lots of asses! Now you have a better understanding of how the WALL STREET BAILOUT PLAN WILL WORK !!!!

truth

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860)

for your discernment

Someone described what we are experiencing now on the Earth is a “collective dark night of the soul.” If you have ever been through a personal dark night of the soul you will relate to this description. It is a time when you are in the middle of a personal challenge and you don’t have any idea of how it will all work out. It can feel like being in a tunnel without seeing the Light at the end. When you are in this time of challenge it can seem endless. Yet, these times do resolve. We are stronger. We are wiser. We are deepened. In this mood of change there might be the feeling of grief from the past, from the way things were. You could take a credit card, charge up whatever you wanted, and not have to think much after that except that you will make payments. You could count on certainties like your favorite store being open or your investments being somewhat stable. You thought you were secure with your retirement plan or you that your employer would be there forever. Yet, all of these are in a state of flux. Your favorite store may be out of business, your 401 K may have lessened, and you may be unemployed. This is only a sample of the shocking news of the day. Where do you put your stock? You need to awaken and invest in your spiritual self, your soulful values as a part of your Creator. You need to know and experience that your Creator will take care of you like all of the other species on the planet. This is a time when you go within and not get caught up in the fear and chaos. Perhaps this is the perfect time for you to express more of your soul. I recently received this from someone on the Internet and I am sorry I do not know who wrote this but it is inspiring: The Total Human is someone who . . . Is connected to their soul and life purpose Has dynamic energy to manifest their Vision Has the expanded awareness and intuitive capability Has an internal ease in the midst of daily life Enjoys an effortless flow of creativity in all they do Is compassionate and heart-centered in their relationships Has emotional freedom and expression Does not make life choices based on fear Has a deep connection to their own inner knowing Has a light in their eyes and a magnetic presence Has embraced all aspects of their life experience Uses their body at a higher functioning level for spiritual development Grounds that spiritual development into daily physical reality Uses their increased personal power with great wisdom And has a deep connection to the joy in life. The Total Human is one who as activated The Light (hu) in the Mind (man). Live Larger than you are currently. . As spiritual beings having a human experience it is time for us to become a part of a larger community, to help each other, to live from our hearts, to become wise and to live with compassion. We are not put on this planet just to be a part of a money making scheme, we are here to live our divine truth and to express our own aspect of creation
Sept. 2008 Idaho Observer When I was sent to prison, the judge mentioned just the length of my sentence. Had he included the entire scope of my punishment, he may have said it differently: "Mr. Steen, I sentence you to take responsibility for every social ill—past, present and future. Each time America runs out of foreign enemies, it apparently turns on itself to find more. By way of media, politics and indifferences, people who break the law, good law or bad, become those enemies and are then responsible for every social malady. Whether this is logical, you are the culprit. "You are sentenced to live in a maladaptive, alien environment that defies description. You’ll be stripped of your work skills, your self-worth and your humanity while at the same time face the daily threat of assault, rape, false accusations and unjustified punishment. You will live like this for the next 15 years. If you manage to re-enter society as a productive person, some will say prison was just what you needed. If not, others will say ‘I told you so.’ "Because of counterproductive prison policies, you are sentenced to live in a world of cruelty and indifference that perpetuates the very behavior it purports to alleviate. If you share this with those outside of the prison system, you will be called a liar, most won’t believe that $millions are spent on the proliferation of facilities that perpetuate harm, not repair it. "You are sentenced to consume $150,000 to $600,000 in taxpayer dollars for your prison stay. While lawmakers cite the ever-growing cost of incarceration as a public necessity, you will learn that 10 percent of that amount goes towards your daily needs, while the other 90 percent pays for a bloated prison bureaucracy immune from any cost-benefit analysis. These tax dollars will be siphoned from school programs, child care, and job training, all of which do make communities healthy and safe and save $millions in the process. Despite the media frenzy that portrays society seething with crime, you’ll learn that relatively few prisoners represent a danger to our communities; we’re mad at most felons, not scared of them. So, you’ll wonder why the majority of prisoners aren’t on home arrest, a logical move that would save millions of dollars and obviate the need for more prisons. "Practical education programs, universally proven to drastically reduce recidivism, will be almost nonexistent. In fact, you will be disciplined for possessing more than 10 books. Therefore, you will live in an environment where recidivism is tacitly encouraged, a fact not lost on those who want to run prisons for a profit. "It is true that there are some counseling programs in prison and some people will benefit from them. Yet, if you attempt to describe the futility of a therapeutic environment placed within an atmosphere of people with dehumanizing policies, you will be told that your intentions are distorted and without merit. "You are sentenced to bear the wrath of a misinformed society. While you’re experiencing everything I just said, you will be told how easy you have it. The media will find your Christmas meal more news-worthy than the damage caused by law-makers who jostle for the next ‘get tough’ policy at the expense of society’s wellbeing. Your privilege to have this once-a-year meal will be presented as so outrageous, a debate will ensue over which ‘luxury’ to take away next. Politicians will focus on violent sociopaths and pronounce their horrific crimes as a yardslide to measure the innate danger and incorrigibility of all law-breakers, including you. "Finally, as perhaps the most perverse component of your sentence, I hereby prohibit society from ever listening to you. Your comments on crime and punishment will be ignored. You, as well as others, will see the big picture, but few will care about the politics of crime and its role in our growing prison population. You will know that most prisoners are guilty of breaking the law, but only a few need to be separated from society. You will know that it is the reporting and sensationalism of crime that has skyrocketed, not crime itself. "Unfortunately, though, you will one day return to society with firsthand knowledge of our prison system, few will care; most see only the door leading into prison, not the one leading out. "Therefore, if your opinion ever gets printed in a newspaper, you will not only be perceived as just another law-breaker unable to accept the consequences of his actions, but of being manipulative as well. Society will know this to be so because you broke the law. "You are hereby sentenced to be a messenger whose message will be forever perceived as tainted, self-serving and disingenuous, regardless of veracity and accuracy. "No one will believe you. "You have been sentenced to be a criminal." Randal R. Steen Bismarck, North Dakota Steen, 48, a union journeyman millwright by trade, is the father of four children and four grandchildren. He is currently six years into a 15-year sentence for a non-violent drug offense. www.proliberty.com/observer/20080920.htm
