There are four different poems hope you enjoy ~
~
May You Feel
Loved
May you feel serenity and
tranquility
in this world you may not fully ever understand.
May the pain you have known and the conflicts you
have
experienced
give you the strength to work through life
facing each new situation with courage
and optimism.
Always know there are those whose love and
understanding will always
be there,
even when you feel most alone.
May you
discover enough goodness in others
to believe in a sense of
peace
A kind word, a reassuring touch,
a warm smile be
yours everyday
of your life.
And may you give these
gifts as well
as receive them.
Remember the
Sunshine
when the storm seems unending.
Teach love to
those who hate and let that
love embrace as you continue on in the
world
May the teachings of those you admire
become a part of you, so that you may call
upon them when
needed.
Remember those whose lives you have
touched,
and whom have touched yours.
they will always be
apart of you.
Even if the encounters were less than
you
have wished.
It is the content of the encounter
that is more
important than the form.
May you not
become so concerned
with materialistic matters,
but instead
place immeasurable value
on the goodness in your
heart.
Find time in each day to see the beauty
and
love around you.
Realize each person has limitless
abilities,
but each of us are different in our own
way.
What you feel you lack in one regard,
may become
compensated for another
What you feel you lack in the
present
may become your strength in the future.
May
you see your future as one filled with
promise and
possibility.
Learn to view everything as a worthwhile
experience.
May you find your inner strength
to determine
your worth in yourself.
And not dependant on another's
judgments
of your accomplishments
Blackened Heart
The soft petals have crumbled
from the rose.
The "true" color of fate.
Blackened darkness
compelling
just cause.
She feels smothered
A soul
who doesn't want to be uncovered.
Soft flesh impeded by barbed
wire
so complex yet filled with desire.
Soft dried petals
cascading over
ominous' of life.
Breathes a woman with a
soul so dead
Not once had she said:
"This is my life I love
it so"
Deciding now "I will go out and have a go."
Thinking
maybe again in "time"
She again will see the sun
"shine".
~If he only
Knew~
To all who've let love pass them
by
If he only knew what I knew
but couldn't
say.
If he could just see
the part of me hidden
away.
If I could be in his arms once again,
Just to say I
love you
What can I say,
maybe he would stay.
If
he only knew
what more can I do?
If he could feel
what I feel in my heart.
He'd know it is real
and has been
true from the start.
I'm just a woman
who didn't
understand
what he was going through.
What more can I
do?
He's gone away,
not wanting to stay.
If he
only knew
How did I let him walk away?
Love, Love is a easy
feeling,
But the hardest to say.
He's all I dream about
everyday.
Like a fool I waited to long,
and now my true love
is gone.
Lock The My Hearts
Door
I no longer want to look over my
shoulder,
as the days grow colder.
I don't want to remember
anymore,
Wanting to lock this hearts door.
The heartache,
pain and despair,
is beginning to be what I can
no longer
bare
Where in the world have I gone wrong?
Not feeling as I
belong,
like a forgotten song.
I dream~ but they seem to
not come true.
No matter what I do.
I feel nothing but
loneliness and blue.
Seems my heart is again hardening,
I
truly feel this starting.
I try to send faith and
encouragement
through and through,
Speak from my heart I
know this is true.
But loneliness is here once more,
Like
someone has locked my hearts door.
