Mark D Kelley's blog: "Mark Page"

created on 09/30/2008  |  http://fubar.com/mark-page/b249195
I have been busy with the changes of life and helping others with things that I have neglected to write blogs or notes online, so here I go to catch you all up to what has been going on with me. First I have met a special lady that I love a lot and am seeing where it goes. She put a smile back on my old sad heart and is showing me that I am not done with the happiness. I hope I do some of the same for her. It is not all ways good and we have a lot to lean about each others but it is fun again to learn. She is unique and has made me feel things again. Making her happy is letting me enjoy cuddling, sex, kisses, hugs, and just being with some one again. I have hope that it will work out and for a time I thought I was done with that part of my life but now it is looking up. Next I have been setting up to move from this apartment to a new place but I am still not sheer where that will be. It is some what scary to move but I think it is for the best. You know every so often you need a fresh starts and I had moved here when I was married and made most friends here then, there is a lot of drama from that still going on here and my new friend that I am seeing where the relationship goes is getting pulled in it. Next I have been doing a lot of painting for my mother lately; I just got done with stripping and repainting her car-port and trim of her house. I also was house sitting for her for a time. I am going to get back to my writing stories and working on my book story. I know we all come with baggage from are lives, Trust me mine is the size of a house but are past is what helps make us who we are and who we will be. You don’t live in the past but learn from it. I have always tried to use my past to help other not to make my mistakes and to show that you don’t have to stay messed up. For this the man upstairs (GOD) always seems to put me in interesting places and sends me unique people to help or help me. More to come!!

I met Cap

I wrote a story about this for a client and then decided to share it with you all. I am working on writing more stories about Cap, He is the only nonhuman Character I have ever made up. I have been writing stories most of my life with a computer. This freaks out most of my teachers because of my poor spelling, and writing. Thanks to Spell check and a computer my writing is getting better. I met Cap The day before Christmas Eve, I was driving down an almost deserted road as the snow was starting to fall. When I saw a big van get hit from behind by a bigger truck that had slid out of control and after hitting the van slid back off the road right before the brig. The van was not so lucky it ran right onto the brig and off the center rail into the deep river. I pulled off the road behind the truck and grabbed my medic bag I kept behind the driver seat. I did a quick check of the occupants of the truck they seemed shaken but ok. I saw that a car coming the other way had pulled off the side of the road and was making his way a cross the road toward the truck, so I yelled for the guy who was crossing the road to stay with them and I would check out the van. As I got to where the van went off the brig, I saw that it was sinking fast so with out thinking I dropped my bag and dove right in after it. I got to the driver side door witch was gone and I heard some thing inside so I get in. As I make my way around all the jumbled stuff I find the driver trying to open a cage as the water was rushing in but he was too weak from the crash to do it. I helped bust it open and he grabbed what looked like a Chimpanzee that was in the cage and as I helped him get that chimp something climbed on my back. I helped the driver out with his and made sheer that what was on my back was stile there, but the water had us trapped in the back of the van. I reached behind me and pulled what was on my back around seeing it was much younger chimp I tucked it in my jacket, zipped it up. Then as the chimp grabbed my side I dove under the water and swam as fast as I could out of the van. As my head broke the surfs of the water I flipped over on my back and opened my jacket but the chimp was not breathing. After making it to the shore I saw that the crash had drawn a crowd. I yell for some one to bring me my bag that was on the brig. A big guy brings me my bag and I start CPR on the very young looking Chimp. After the driver of the van checks out the dead chimp he had, he put it down, and he came over to see how I was doing. I was using a CPR mask as I tried very hard to save the chimp that the van driver told me was actually a Bonobo that is like a chimp. I get the Bonobo to breathe then I looked it over for any injury. It was fine then as I checked the driver out and patch his head from a cut he had on his forehead, the Bonobo clung to my side under the jacket. “It looks like you have been adopted by him. Maybe that is for the best; his mother just died. Why don’t you get out of here and I will just tell them all died because most likely they will put it down if I bring it in. Thanks for your help! “ “You are welcome! Have the paramedics check you out. “ I got my bag and as the paramedics check him out, I slipped away with the Bonobo stile under my jacket. I got to my truck but before I could start my truck a Policeman came over to me. “Sir, where are you going?” “No where sir, I just needed to get out of these wet clothes and to turn on my heater.” “Are you ok?” “Fine sir, just cold and if you give me a few minutes to change, warm up. I will gladly talk to you.” As he walked away I turned on my heater and toke off my jacket then I looked down at the Bonobo who looked up at me with this cutest face. “What am I going to do with you?” I put him in the passenger’s seat and he started playing with my cap as I changed into some extra clothes I kept in a bag behind the seat. Then I saw a can of mixed fruit that I opened then set it down beside him, as I slipped the truck in to gear and drove off fast. After a while the Bonobo ate the food and fell asleep with my cap in his hands and the mixed fruit can empty. I drove home stile thinking about what to do with him, “I guess the first thing is to give you a name, Cap will be your name!”
