The otherworld(astralplane) can be hard to reach and understand because it occupies the same space(area) as the earth plane. There is no linear thought or concept of time there! Time it self is a human conceived idea. All teachings say the two worlds interpenetrate eachother but have different vibrations, which make this penetration possible.
