Interpol issues global alert for missing British child
Interpol has issued a global alert following the disappearance of a three-year-old girl from a holiday resort in Portugal on 3 May.
An Interpol Yellow Notice for Madeleine McCann has been circulated to each of Interpol’s 186 member countries, after the toddler went missing from an apartment in Praia da Luz in the western Algarve.
The notice was issued at the request of Portuguese authorities who are leading the investigation into the toddler’s disappearance.
Interpol Yellow Notices are circulated to help locate missing persons, especially minors, or to help identify persons who are not able to identify themselves.
Anyone who has any information regarding this case is asked to contact their local police or the Portuguese authorities.
