My band has found itself without a vocalist, and are struggling to find a new one that matches our style and personality. So. i think I'll throw it out here on Fubar and see if anyone here is interested. What're we looking for? Well... We're influenced by/have similar style to a wide range of groups... 36crazyfists, Tool, 10 Years, Deftones, Coheed & Cambria, etc. We have experience gigging at a variety of venue types and recording in a pro studio. We put a lot of emphasis on writing fun and interesting material, and refining it til it works right. What we're looking for from YOU: Be 18+. Must have own transportation. Must have an income. We're not treating this like a business (yet), but we will be recording again down the line, and merch is always a plus. Must have a PA system. Must be drama-free, and willing to not take things so seriously. Must realize that the band is important, but not everything in life. We all have careers, families, and things going on in our lives that do take precedent over the band, but the band is definitely very important to us. And last but certainly not least, you must be able to sing your ass off! Last night was our first show at The Boardwalk, and let me tell you, it was fucking amazing! The bands that came out were all really great, so thank you Shadowbox Theory, South Of Sunshine, Raining Glass, and Dopamineak for playing such damn good sets and being severely cool people. Thanks to all of our friends who showed up and supported not just us but all the other band, good times were had by all! Also, if anyone has any pics from the show, we'd love to see them! We've got more fun stuff coming up soon, so keep an eye on the shows page and this blog, and we're looking forward to seeing you guys at our next show! Low Flyer is rocking faces at The Vent tonight! Corner of Fair Oaks & Madison in Fair Oaks! Show starts at 9pm and we're opening, so get there early and freakin' hang out!!! :D

So after our May 8th Thursday show was bumped so that Ludo could play, we got thrown a Saturday show on May 10th! How freakin' awesome is that? Well, at this point we still don't know what's going on slot-wise, whether we will be opening (wouldn't be surprised, we're the new guys around town), or headlining as the flyer below illustrates (flyer was made by the photographer/assistant for Montana/Sith Entertainment, who booked the show). But either way, doors open at 7:30p, show starts at 8p, so frickin' BE THERE! It'll be good times for all! Tix are $10 in advance, and I believe they might be $12 at the door.

On Saturday, Jared, Rico, Joe, and myself bunkered down into Pus Cavern Studio here in Sacramento, CA and told our engineer, Eric Broyhill that we wanted to do three songs in one day. He basically said "Well, if that's what you want to do, you'll be rushed, but let's get 'em cracked out", and 10 hours later, we have three brand new recordings, even mixed decently! We recorded "Track 2", "Anyhow, Anyways", and "Leap Day". The first and third are quite old songs that have stuck around for three or so years, and "Anyhow, Anyway" is a brand new song that's been finished for less than a month or two. I think it's a pretty good indicator of our sound, writing style, etc... Take a listen, and let me know what you think! A joygasmic 10 hour block of studio time is going on this Saturday at Pus Cavern! Wow, are we excited!
