In the heat In the warmth of your passion I cried You inside of me, feeling me Caressing me, at one with me I cried Our bodies intertwined Sensations flowing through me Swaying with your motions My senses, wide open Listening to the sounds of love being made, Touching you, tasting you, the smell of you Feeling, I mean really feeling, you My body responds to the impact of you My mind reacts to the heart of you My soul... it speaks for itself Cause last night, I cried

Palms sweat, but not from heat. As two bodies come to meet. Closer and closer, face to face. Leather, pearls, and lace. Gazing into sultry eyes. Pulled closer and told lies. The scent of lust fills the air. To get what's needed, there's not a care. Sashaying across the floor of life. Inflicting selfish pain and strife. Nothing said or done will ever be true. Am I dancing with the devil? Or are you?

Am I a harp that the hands of this man may touch me? Or a flute that his breathe may pass through me? to command that perfect note... A seeker of silences I am; what treasures have I found in silence? If this is the day of harvest, in what forgotten field have I sowed the seed and in what unremembered season? If this indeed be the hour in which I lift up my lantern, is it not that flame which burns within? Empty and dark shall I raise my lantern and the guardian of my nights shall fill it with oil. And he shall set flame to light it.
