Love is like a flower
both starting from a seed,
a garden that needs tending
to destroy each threatening weed
Love is like a flower
on trust one does thrive
the other needs Mother Nature
in order to survive
Love is like a flower
growing a little more each day
while flowers fade can and welter
only love is led astray

their roots die by being weak
those that weather the storms
will keep blooming past their peak
