Graphic Designer And promoter The primary role of the Graphic Designer And promoter is to help the lounge grow and improve the lounge with the use of making graphics and creating the code to go along with the graphics. This may include making bulletins, graphics for the lounge site, graphics for the lounge itself, code for the lounge site, and code for the lounge. Requirements for the job 1. Experience with a quality graphics program such as Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Gimp, etc. 2. Access to one of those quality graphics programs 3. Knowledge of web programming such as HTML, PHP, CSS, etc. 4. Good sense of design and artistic eye. 5. Active member and chatter of the lounge. How to apply for the role 1. Create a DJ bulletin for one of the DJs of the lounge in the dimensions of 600px width X 800px height. 2. Create a second bulletin for the lounge itself with the same dimensions (bulletin must match the lounge theme/design). 3. Upload the bulletins to a photobucket account or other server. 4. Fill out the application which will include the address for those bulletins. Graphic Designers has no set schedule. The only thing the graphic designers have to do is create shiny eye candy to help draw new members. The graphics should be done well and not don't badly. The graphic designers are welcome to do graphics for friends who are with other lounges but should not be the graphic designer for other lounges. The graphic designers job is to promote this lounge and by doing the designing for other lounges you help other lounges to get members that could be drawn into this lounge. Loyalty is important and required.

Dancer The primary role of the dancer is to help give the impression of a club environment or to be eye candy on cam. If the dancer has no cam than they are going to periodically make comments about a dance move they are doing. If the dancer does have a cam then it would be their responsibility while on cam to dance from time to time. Duties if the dancer has no cam • 1. Make comments in the lounge of dance moves they are doing. These moves can be standard dance moves or even stripper moves. These comments should be detailed in their description so that everyone can imagine that person doing that move. • 2. Involve others sometimes in the moves. This could include mention slow dancing with someone during a slow song or grinding on them during a dirty song. This will many times raise the excitement level in the room. • 3. Raise the excitement level in the room. If the general impression of the room is that everyone is just sitting around bored then the dancer would try to get people more active and excited about being there. If there is a dancer present their job is to make sure the excitement level stays high. Duties if the dancer has a cam • 1. Dance on cam. Dancers who are on cam should dance. This could be booty shaking, twisting, or whatever. There are many times the music that is being played is not really good for dancing to but when it is then the Dancers should dance. A dancer should never spend their whole time while on cam sitting still staring at the screen. They don't have to dance all the time but there should be some dancing done. • 2. Entertain while on cam. If you can't dance while on cam because the music isn't right for it then doing something else. Make entertaining faces at the comments being made. If someone says something shocking or funny then the face of the dancer should match. If you are on cam you should be entertaining while on cam. No one should wonder if the cam froze because the dancer hasn't moved any in awhile. • 3. If you are on cam then the focus of attention should be in the room. Dancers when on cam should not be busy in IM land or SBing all the time. You are on cam to entertain the masses so your focus should be with the masses. • 4. Raise the excitement level in the room. Dancers are not required to show nudity and shouldn't while the lounge is open. However they can tease and get people worked up. People are more likely to want to return to a room with teasing dancers than to a room that has no dancers. People should be excited and anxious when a dancer is going on cam. Dancers are not there to be trashy. They should be classy. When on cam they do not have to act on demand from people but they should still entertain. If someone is being too demanding then a dancer should let an enforcer or member of management know so that the person can be dealt with accordingly. If a dancer is spending the majority of their time just staring at the camera while doing nothing then it is possible they may be asked to go off of cam til they are feeling more up to the task. If repeat issues of them not doing their role are noticed then they may be asked to become a greeter instead. If a dancer without a cam is observed not doing their duties as well then again they might be asked to become a greeter instead

Photobucket Greeters / Cabana Boys/Bar Tenders The primary role of the Greeter is to welcome people into the lounge. Anytime someone enters the lounge they should be personally greeted. Visitors are more likely to want to stay if they feel they will get attention and not be ignored. Most people will leave a lounge when they get bored and don't feel like they are getting any attention. Greeters help to avoid this. The Greeter role should be more than just saying hi. Responsibilities 1. Welcome everyone who enters the lounge. Think of it as the Greeter is right inside the door to the building welcoming them to the establishment. If it were real life they would probably offer to take their coats or hats. If possible try to personalize the greeting so that the person doesn't feel like it is a scripted greeting. If they look at the other greetings it would be nice if they didn't feel like they got a carbon copied greeting. 2. Help new comers get into the spirit of the lounge. Ask them questions or let them know what the current topic of the lounge is. Many new people will feel uncomfortable just jumping into a topic with a bunch of regulars. They may feel the lounge has a social status and that they would have to work to be accepted. The greeter can help them feel more welcomed by maybe letting them know what is being discussed and to ask what their thoughts are. If there is no general topic of conversation then perhaps the greeter will start it just by probing the new entries with questions about themselves. 3. Welcome back people who have refreshed or returned. Many times after a new DJ takes over or a person gets on cam most of the room will refresh. The greeters can still welcome them. The refresh greeting is more than likely going to be a general welcome back than individual due to the volume. If someone was in the lounge before and had just returned then the greeter would welcome them back. If the greeter knew the reason why the person left then they might ask a question or two on that topic. Example would be if the person left to go to the store the greeter could inquire as to how the drive was or how busy the store was. This helps the person feel more welcomed back like they were missed. 4. Give patrons a proper send off. This means that if a person is leaving for a short while then the greeter may say "hurry back" as to let them know they should return as soon as they can. This helps people feel like their presence will be missed while they are gone. If they are leaving for the day/night then letting them know to have a good night gives the patron a positive feeling when leaving and will likely help them to decide to return the next day. The greeter is the first person that a new visitor will encounter when they visit the lounge. They can make the difference on if a person stays or leaves. They also can make the difference on the general impression that a person gets from a lounge. It is not always possible to do all these roles at once and that is partially why many times there is more than one greeter. It is not expected that all these roles can be done all the time but a greeter should do their best. They should not ignore their duties just because they are busy with conversation or watching a cam. If it is decided that a greeter is not doing their job it is possible that they might be let go. Many times greeters are considered the entry level position for the lounge. Doing this job right could make the difference on if another role in the lounge is even considered

EnForcers The primary role of the enforcer is to keep the peace in the lounge by taking any measures necessary to do so. You must be able to set your friendships aside and not afraid of confrontation. You will also need to have the ability to not get yourself worked up also, keep a cool head and respond appropriately. When two people have a disagreement and it keeps going, next thing you know you have a lounge full of angry members…..AVOID THIS!! Steps to Take to stop an argument or drama that might happen: 1. Give one warning in the lounge to stop the argument or drama, state that if it continues further action will be taken against all people involved. 2. Silence the person that is keeping the issue going. After you have silenced them, state in the lounge that they have been silenced for one hour and once they are no longed silenced if they continue they will be ejected. 3. If silencing does not work, then eject the person. 4. Ban the person – absolute last resort Depending on the situation it might be required to skip straight to ejecting. Always use banning as the absolute last resort. Use your best judgement. If you ban someone, you need to post it on the forum under the section for banned members. Provide the details as to why they person was banned and the steps that was taken up until the banning, also it is wise to always take screen shots of all incedents This might seem like a hassle, but when Phantom, Amanda, or others have members coming to them asking why they were banned it is easier for them to go to the forum and see the details rather than to try tracking down the information. An enforcer is one of the most important positions in the lounge and should be taken VERY seriously! MODS – Are to be taken seriously and not used as a toy. If you are caught misusing mods, they will be taken away and further action might be taken given the circumstances.

DJ RULES • 1. There must be respect shown among all the DJs to each other and to all management and staff at all times, including, but not limited to, bashing of any song(s) a DJ plays. If you have an issue on a song or type of music just turn your sound down or mute the player. Please do not voice your dislike in the lounge! We all have our own opinions and taste in music. If you don't feel you can control yourself then just leave the lounge and come back another time. • 2. Any conflicts between DJs needs to be kept to IMS and never be addressed in the lounge. We are all adults here and should make every effort to settle any disputes between each other maturely and respectfully, however, if you feel it necessary, it may be discussed with a manager present in a private conversation, i.e. conference. Please remember each person holds their personality in their soul and as in any work environment we must learn to deal with that in others - we do not want to lose any DJ over some petty misunderstandings as can often happen in chat. If the incident is not taken to IM and continues in the lounge, both parties will be booted from the lounge and warned - ONCE. If either party has another incident, that party will be let go from the station. • 3. All DJs need to show up and be ready to take air AT LEAST 15 minutes prior to the beginning of their shifts and you must let the DJ on the air know you are here! (You can check who is on the station by looking at the lounge player - that will show you who is on air. It is your responsibility to let them know you are here, they should not have to track you down. If a DJ does not show up for their shift, the DJ on air may continue on the air if desired and/or able to. If that DJ is unable or doesn't want to continue on air, please get in touch with one of the managers and we will find someone to take over for you. • 4. A DJ should contact the station management at least 2 hrs (if humanly possible) before their scheduled time if they are not able to do their shift. • 5. DJs may switch or trade times with each other as a trade off as long as both agree, of course. Please let a manager know of this shift change. Any permanent changes to your schedule must be made through and agreed on by station management. • 6. All DJs need to have yahoo messenger as that is used to pass the station to each other and for requests outside of Fubar. Please notify a manager ASAP of any change in your yahoo messenger screen name. Also please use yahoo for messages to managers or other DJs as usually it is the most reliable way to do so. • 7. No DJ may be working at another station at the same time they are DJing here. Your total commitment is expected with our station. • 8. All DJs must give a warning of any lyrics that could offend or be found to be offensive to some listeners. Make sure all disclosures and "Adult Content" warnings are played at the start of your show and again once each hour of your air time. Remember to be respectful to ALL of your listeners and there may be children listening. • 9. Above all else, please do not become obsessed over the amount of listeners you might have at any given time. Peoples real lives and schedules are very important and things come up - Holidays, illness, company at home, all types of things. The MAIN thing here is to HAVE FUN!!!! Be it one listener or 100, just be the same wonderful DJs you are. If there are any questions or concerns about the above rules, please address them to The phantom shadow, amanda the seductress or angel eyes. Thank you for being a big part of the radio station and a vital part of our staff. Each and every one of you is very appreciated for the hard work and the voluntary time and dedication!! DJ REQUIREMENTS * You MUST be willing to have fun! * You must have some music, at least 500 songs, before we can put you on the air. * We Are Exclusive - Our DJ's cannot DJ for another station and here at the same time. * If you would like to DJ here and you are with another station you must leave there before we will work with you. * ALL DJ's MUST tag their music and clean up the names to look professional...we will help you with this if you don't know how. (see examples below) * In the radio world you can never have too many DJ's, so we are always willing to add qualified DJ's to our staff...if for nothing else but as back-ups and fill-in DJ's until we have open shifts. Here is what you need: • 1. At least 500 songs to start training with, and we would like for you to have at least 2,000+ clean and properly tagged songs at the time you become a full DJ. • 2. The willingness to have FUN and be a team player...we WILL NOT put up with any drama here and if you have personal issues that will affect your abilites to perform professionally, be on time for your shifts and/or cause the station any grief whatsoever, we cannot use you and will not hire you - period! • 3. Did I mention we are here to have fun? Good...I can't say that enough! There is no room for anyone's inflated ego here - LEAVE IT AT THE DOOR or don't bother applying for a DJ position with us. • 4. You must have Yahoo Messenger installed on your computer...this is our main source of communication between staff members. Other IM programs are fine if you have them, but they are not required.
