You go through life and you meet people. Some have one face, some have two and some have so many you lose count. You stare deep and try to discern which is the true one...which one won't tear you apart...which one won't take a piece of you when they go. You tell youself everyone comes into your life for a reason, good or bad. You tell youself that everyone has something to teach you. You tell youself that everyone has some life lesson you should learn from them. But in the dark of the night, when you lie alone in your bed, when the pain won't quit and the hurt hangs on your heart like a stone it's so hard to tell yourself the lesson was worth it all.
