Transgressions of loneliness
Fleeting thoughts of desire
Cost of soul measured
In heart fires

Sometimes
My tears get tired
Soul calling
My mind a liar

In anger
Words spoken upon the earth
Exist in infinity

Never wanting allot of things
Diamonds, clothes
Cars, gold
All seem so cold
My mind feels so old
Kickin' back
On the porch
With my soul

I suppose
Life is what we make it
Although
Our lives are what makes us
We can't let it break us

Lost memories of times
I can't make up
So now I'm straight
Laced up
For the court of life

I wake up
Dressed in black
Running from the waist up
Let me make my case
I appeal to the judge

I lived my life
Always knowing
You can't bring back
What once was

Is it no wonder why
I bust

In traces of dust
An remnants of lessons
Spiderwebs of confessions
Had me stressin'
Never second guessing
The question
Or the lesson.
