Dear Friend,
I named my team the Krusaders (K of course for Kiki or Kirsten) because the Crusaders throughout history were symbols of those chosen to fight for a just cause.
For those that don't know my story I am a survivor of Hepatitis C and feel blessed to have made the healing journey for it makes me appreciate life and family and friends and never take it for granted. So for me this walk is personal and I need your help and support as sponsors and walkers to join me to be a symbol of light and hope for others going through the fight as I did! Those who can't get out of bed or walk a flight of stairs without feeling exhausted and fighting with everything in them while they are on treatments to kill the Dragon inside them. I do it as a symbol of survival and hope for them. You can learn more about my journey on my personal page and sponsor me following links at the bottom of this email.
JOIN KIKI'S KRUSADERS AND WALK WITH ME: No entrance fee required and all team members that raise at least $100 will get a Liver Walk t shirt and a little thank you gift from me plus the satisfaction of knowing you are helping me in a cause close to my heart being a survivor myself of Hepatitis C.
Individual team members who raise $500 or more will be invited to a special thank you gathering.

It will be a leisurely walk together sharing the beauty of the surroundings of Griffith Park together with friends and extended family and I promise lots of giggles along the way! We will be walking as a symbol of hope for those who are coping with the over 100 liver diseases including Hepatitis, Fatty Liver Disease and Liver Cancer.
