"Little Moments"

"Mommy,daddy's home!"Rings in my ears as you arrive.

Smiling as our babies rush to your side.

They leap into your awaiting hands,

"Hug me daddy!" Is their only demands.

You wrap each lovingly into an arm,

My heart smiles I know they are safe from harm.

Over two little heads we steal a kiss,

These are the little moments we will miss.

As dinner time draws near,

"We're playing with daddy" is what I hear.

Grow up  so fast we know they will,

So each day with our little moments we fill.

For we both know it will soon be gone,

All we will have is our little moments to carry on.
