September 25, 2007 @ 9:00pm CST I am an avid weather freak, tonight I witnessed a bizarre lightning storm over northern Denton County (Texas). Clear dark sky, and numerous lightning flares. I have never seen lightning in clear skies, it was absolutely beautiful, crisp white, clear lightning against a deep dark blue backdrop, spreckled with gleaming greenish/blue stars. It was fantastic, however I wish I had a high speed camera..
