You came into my life
when i needed a friend.
You opened up your home
And you let me come in.
You had a heart of gold
You would take anyone in.
It was easy to talk to you
It was easier to call you my friend.
The advise that you would give
I sometimes would ignore.
Now this day I know
Your advise I will get no more.
I think of you each day
And miss you even more.
I wish I could go to your house
And see you open the door.
I was not there with you
The day you went away.
Even though I could not be
In my heart your memory will stay.
I sometimes talk to you
And hope that you can hear.
There are times when i feel alone
I swear I can feel you near.
I know I will see you again
And I know this to be true.
There are so many things I want to say
But most importantly I LOVE AND MISS YOU!!!!!!!
