Cherrytap greatest site ever. Have met some very lovley people on here and some of them are very lovely ladies. The single dad who does not get out much. So need to have time to talk to other adults and cherrytap has been great. Feeling alot less insane since starting to come here. Well tht all just a quick blog. Have to thatnk my friend Kimberly. She is in the navy and currently in Japan. She is going to set me up an alotment from her pay to help me out paying rent. Ben having to borrow money from people to help pay rent since oct 2006 and I hate it. Got custody of my kids than a month later lost my job. So went on welfare (hate it too) but welfare give me 740 a month and rent is 875 a month, I am sure you can do the math.I am finding out what great friends I have. Love to them all. Now to deal with my depression. My therapist is refering me to someone else to look at the posability I will need medication. Hope not but if it help wth the depression it will make me a better dad for my kids. Well that all for this rant. Hugs to all who actually read this. Kurt

Well thank God for freinds. If it was not for friends my children and I would be on the street. Lost my job back in Oct of 2006. Been looking but hard to find work as a single dad when you do not have the money for daycare. On welfare (and HATING it) which gives me 740 a month and my rent is 875. I am sure you can do the math. Tha there is the lelctric bill. And the cox bill 9cannot have a 7 year old and a 5 year old with out cartoons). and than the cell phone bill wich is used to still deal with the Hamilton County job and family services and lawyers and foster mother out in Ohio where my ex lost custody of my kids to the state. But thing are looking up friends help support my kids and I. Also having help to go back to school later this year for medical training. People from my mothers church are offering to help. Seem for some reason people are impressed that I steped up to take my kids. My welfare to work referaal has come through late in Feb. So now I can go back to school with less strees as Welfare-to-Work/Maximus will pay for childcare for up to two years. So will have no troubles paying for childcare when I need it know. Now I just have to find it.

Well looks like I will be going back to school. Starting at Concourd Career College Aug. 20th for Respiratory Therapist. Graduate in march 2009. 18 month program get me an A.S to go with my three A.A.s. Checked out Salary.com for how much they make (sound of jaw droping at the pay). Would be makeing more than twice as much as I did at my last job. WOOHOO. So loks like life may start sucking in the good way. Lets hope.

Well for anyone that care I am now a single Father. Have a 7 year old daughter and a 5 year old son. My exgf married a guy who raped my daughter multipletime over a two year period before she turned 6, SO had to fight the State of Ohio for them when I live in SOuthern California. So finally received custody in Aug. of 2006. I did not believe I was fully prepaired for them and boy was I right. My work (Viejas Casino) did not believe that becoming asingle father of two abused children was cause to take me off of Graveyard shift, so I had to try and depend on freinds for nighttime child care. Well that did not work out to well and I ended up fired for being one minute late three time in the same pay period. So been out of work for a while. Doing the welfare thing and hating ever second of it. But the welfare to wrok program will pay for daycare for my kids while I go back to school. SO I have my kids and things are starting to work out. Life looks a little better each day but for now still sucks in the ot so good way. I never really get to leave the house except during the four hours my son is in Kindergarden. So if anyone reads this and is in the San Deigo area and does RPGs give me a holler could host a game at my place. Love to everyone who needs it and huds to thosae who need them. Remember life could always be worse.
