alright so what does theese two have to do with one another? Here is my ex drinking away his chance to be around anyone he love's to have any kind of life all becuase he's been told by some doctor that his life is over, so he went out and ended it while people who care are reaching out offering him help and begging others too do the same becuase maybe he'll listen to me, so here is this guy that could be with his family and living out the rest of his life making happy memories with the people that care about him, and he is drinking it away, since he'll never have the chance to live out his dreams, while in the meantime on the other side of me, I have this doctor who has everything, who has lived his dreams and more, firebirds, corvettes, trucks, a house almost like a mansion, and he's drinking till he passes out and every night and why? Becuase his ex wife won't let him see his children, I know he had them at the begging of the year but I don't know what has happened since. On one side of my coin I have a man drinking away his loved ones and on the other side I have a man drinking because he can't be with his loved ones. You know what I realized, no matter how young or old, what your life expectancy is, or what have, how much you have. when time's get tough people run right into the bottle and they hide there and alcohol can't give you anything but a buzz, It won't lengthen your life and It won't get you the right to see your chilldren, it didn't pay for this doctors house and it won't give Rex the time to make his dreams come true, but there they sit, in their bottles. Doc taught me something the other night other then no matter what you have, you'll always want your family more which I kinda knew I didn't know it extended to corvettes, but he just really drove the point in, but thoose of who are catholic prolly already knew this, St. Jude is the patron saint of lost souls and the hopeless, he told me that was his religion he worships St Jude, this lady's and gentleman is a man of means, and he belives that he is a lost soul he believes in the patron saint of desperate situations; forgotten causes. If only Rex could be more like him then maybe he would realize that he should be sitting with his family and not in a bottle.

every time I have a problem at work before six I slip out and I visit my friends office for a hug, he's a doctor a couple doors down from the store I work in. This man has a thriving bussines, he's always laughing and smiling, he makes the stupidest jokes, he's one of thoose guys that you think is high on life. He invited me to his house for drinks not too long ago and it was the first time I had gone over there, so when I found this private drive off a road I had driven a hundred times I made my way up too this huge house and he had his "roommate" (the guy lives with him) show me the house, it was 5 bedrooms and four baths, beautiful decorating, it was like a house out of thoose magazines, he showed me the backyard it was an acre. one acre not three miles from his office and I got lost on my way there. So I'm sitting there drinking with a friend I had about an 8 ounce glass of malibu on the rocks and the ice melted before I could finish it, I sat there and I watched this man, whom I have never seen frown, drown himself he drank glass after glass of rum and coke to the point he passed out. It made me wonder what does such a kind and careing man have to forgot this way?

all my ex's live in Texas... I'm moveing to tenneessee I can't even spell it! but no I think that is the first joke I've made in the past eight hours. So I was sleeping with this guy who has a heart defect until his doctor gave him some bad news, He at that point pushed me out of his life, I have since found out that he got himself fired from work, and started drinking heavily, this is been weighing on my mind as several of his ex coworkers came to me to ask that I help him.
