Ok.....so you know we've all read Dr. Suess books.....but ya know, did you ever really read them. As a kid I really paid no attention to the life lessons they taught...they were just silly and funny and easy to read.....but now as an adult.....I sit and think of what wonderful advice the good doctor has given to us.....I mean really think about it......Did you ever think that Horton could teach us about loyalty...........

As turtles and, maybe, all creatures should be.
I'm quite happy to say that the Sneetches got really
quite smart on that day, the day they decided that
Sneetches are Sneetches and no kind of Sneetch
is the best on the beaches.
and of course who could forget the Grinch and his awakening to spirituality and the uncommercialized ......
Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before
"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store
Maybe Christmas....perhaps.. means a little bit more!"
how about the one that seems to be at the very core of issues today.....being true to yourself......
You have brains in your head, You have feet in your shoes
You can steer yourself in any direction you choose
You're on your own. and you know what you know
and YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go
Lastly.....Success and the things you will do......and we know Dr. Suess was a huge success
So be sure when you step. Step with care and great tact
and remember that Life's a Great Balancing Act.

So, you ask what is the point to all of this.....next time you are looking for that self help book.......try a little Dr. Suess instead......you might just learn the little things again......I know I did...................
