I walked with you today--- with you and the One inside you Who beamed light through your eyes. Your voice seemed more than your voice and held meaning beyond your meaning. Who was in you speaking? I walked with you and mystery today, and now I need to learn Who dwells in you. Perhaps the One inside me knows. This my friends is one of my favorite poems I hope you enjoy it....Have you ever had that moment with someone right then and there you knew there was so much more that you wanted to know about them and you realize how little time you have to learn.Like for for that second you begun to understand them more than you ever have and your intrigued.

True Meaning of Christmas Just a week before Christmas, I had a visitor. This is how it happened. I just finished the household chores for the night and was preparing to go to bed, when I heard a noise in the front of the house. I opened the door to the front room and to my surprise, Santa himself stepped out next to the fireplace. "What are you doing?" I started to ask. The words choked up in my throat and I saw he had tears in his eyes. His usual jolly manner was gone. Gone was the eager, boisterous soul we all know. He then answered me with a simple statement . . . "TEACH THE CHILDREN!" I was puzzled. What did he mean? He anticipated my question and with one quick movement brought forth a miniature toy bag from behind the tree. As I stood bewildered, Santa said, "Teach the children! Teach them the old meaning of Christmas. The meaning that now-a-days Christmas has forgotten. "Santa then reached in his bag and pulled out a FIR TREE and placed it before the mantle. "Teach the children that the pure green color of the stately fir tree remains green all year round, depicting the everlasting hope of mankind, all the needles point heavenward, making it a symbol of man's thoughts turning toward heaven." He again reached into his bag and pulled out a brilliant STAR. "Teach the children that the star was the heavenly sign of promises long ago. God promised a Savior for the world, and the star was the sign of fulfillment of His promise." He then reached into his bag and pulled out a CANDLE. "Teach the children that the candle symbolizes that Christ is the light of the world, and when we see this great light we are reminded of He who displaces the darkness." Once again he reached into his bag and removed a WREATH and placed it on the tree. "Teach the children that the wreath symbolizes the real nature of love. Real love never ceases. Love is one continuous round of affection." He then pulled from his bag an ORNAMENT of himself. "Teach the children that I, Santa Claus, symbolize the generosity and good will we feel during the month of December." He then brought out a HOLLY LEAF. "Teach the children that the holly plant represents immortality. It represents the crown of thorns worn by our Savior. The red holly berries represent the blood shed by Him. Next he pulled from his bag a GIFT and said, "Teach the children that God so loved the world that he gave his begotten son." Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift. Santa then reached in his bag and pulled out a CANDY CANE and hung it on the tree. "Teach the children that the candy cane represents the shepherds' crook. The crook on the staff helps to bring back strayed sheep to the flock. The candy cane is the symbol that we are our brother's keeper." He reached in again and pulled out an ANGEL. "Teach the children that it was the angels that heralded in the glorious news of the Savior's birth. The angels sang Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace and good will toward men." Suddenly I heard a soft twinkling sound, and from his bag he pulled out a BELL,. "Teach the children that as the lost sheep are found by the sound of the bell, it should ring mankind to the fold. The bell symbolizes guidance and return. Santa looked back and was pleased. He looked back at me and I saw that the twinkle was back in his eyes. He said, "Remember, teach the children the true meaning of Christmas and do not put me in the center, for I am but a humble servant of the One that is, and I bow down to worship him, our LORD, our GOD."

Beings this is thanksgiving and all today I wanted to share a few of the many things I am thankful for. 1.I am thankful for the laughter of my children that fills up my home today. 2.I am thankful for the love of my family. 3.I am thankful for the home in which my family dwells in . 4.I am thankful for my and my childrens health. 5.I am thankful God seen fit for me to wake this morning and enjoy another beautiful day on the planet 6.I am thankful for all my wonderful beautiful friends. 7.I am thankful for the men and women over seas making the world a safer place for us all 8.I am thankful for the air that I breath 9.I am thankful for you the one reading this for taking time out of your own busy life to care what I have to say,,,Kisses Just a few things I am thankful for today I think everyone should make a list of things they are thankful for. All to often we lose site of the important things in life. I was pretty down and out last night when I went to bed because I have to go into work today.When I got up this morning I heard my children laughing down the hall.I smelt the food my Grannie was preparing in the kitchen and my husband kisses me on the forehead and greeted me with Morning love.I could not be sad now for anything.I am so very thankful that I am surrounded with the people I love today.Yes that means all you that I work with too.I could not ask for a better bunch of people to spend my Thanksgiving with I love you all Kisses Shannon

Ok so here goes lets just get this out in the open and off my chest.I Do Not Like Feeling Used.My feelings are really hurt right now.I am a real person with real emotions so please treat me like it.Do befriend me and then just push be away to the side like im not even here.If you need points and thats why you have contacted me fine rate my pictures,blogs,send me a comment what ever.Do not start talking to me unless you intend on continuing the conversation.If you do and decide that you do not like talking to me fine so be it let me know thats all good do not just keep me on your list as head count.Do not ask me to join something and then make me feel like im being used.For those of you that see me as just another pretty face well that just shows how shallow you are.I am a real person I smile I cry I laugh I love I hate.Ihave real emotions just like you do.I do not like being treated like just that pretty girl thats nice to look at...talk to me get to know me...You may learn to love me who know.At the least you will see the real me.How bad would that really be.Form now on I Shannon will no longer let others make me feel used nor like just another pretty face to bring in the ratings....No this is not directed to everyone You know who you are and if this in any way offends any of you well I guses I have reached the right people....Kisses to all.

Ok so this will be my very first Blog entry on here so bare with me. Today hmm yes today its been one of those days.Got up at 5:30 am yuck. Got to work had a pretty good morning laughed cut up ya know, what I do at work..lol..then ughhh someone had to go and mess up my wonderful morning.Yep you know it that one rude crude person that trys to make things just as bad for the person that he encounters as he is unhappy.I proceed towards his table with caution because he looks like hes about to pop a vein ...lol... get to the table and I proceed to tell him my name as in instructed to do with all people. He stops me and says I will not need to know your name I will only be here long enough to eat.Im like ok Sir if your ready to order in ready..he rudley gives me his order and tells me to hurry it up that hes not having a very good day...so im like k sir I will get it to you as fast as I can.....ya know Kill em with kindness right.....So I get him his food with in less that 5 mins which is faster than most fast food places and I work in an actual sit down resturant.He says to me bout time..I sat his food down and said I hope you enjoy your meal sir let me know if you need anything else..His glass is almost empty so I go get a picture of tea go back to his table and reach for his glass...he acts like hes about to grab my arm and tells me to go away... not before I get the words "I don;t think you want to touch me mister." he says you can leave the check I will not be back...I left him the check and went to the back just a lil flustered Brian my boos asks me what happened and I told him he went to the table and .Brian then goes out there tells the man sir you need not to want to come back may I ask you kindly to leave what part oof that meal you ate is on me.Have a wonderful day.The man gets up and walks out.Yeah can bully the woman but when it comes to a man of his own side he backs down.Go figure coward if you ask me...So I get off work get in the car on my way home and im just driving listening to music and all of a sudden a song comes on and I start crying ...why am I crying beats the hell out of me but I can not stop...I start thinking about alot of thing life death friends family everything...Then I get a flash or reality when my phone rings well text....From one of my good friends saying hi and how they missed me and how it had been awhile since we had hung out...Thats what im missing I realize that at the very moment I opened the text I miss my friends I miss me I miss life outside of work ,home and this thing called the internet I miss living.actually dancing in the rain drunk from to much rum running threw the parking lot laughing and not worring who see you because your having fun...I miss that.Its time to devote some time to me...Yes it is I think thats what I need whoohooo so someone take me out already...lol
