Pint 1 ½ (strange places)

Not picking up where I left off in “Lets grab a pint” Pint 1, this entry will be far lengthier and serves as an informative piece…

Finding yourself in a situation that may leave you feeling a bit on edge, like traveling far from home or visiting someplace new is usually an opportune time to grab a pint. Note of warning; do not follow any of the possibly perceived steps and or conduct I mentioned in Pint 1, this could lead to life changing consequences, well …in some cases good things if you are keen to opportunity.

When out and about in a strange place and you are a pint sipper, stick to pints only, hard liquor could get you in some serious shit, a few examples…you visit a city and get super excited, knock back the reserve stuff (tequila, whiskey, etcetera.)  Especially when your new found peeps are supplying…suddenly you get lost. In the days when there were no cell phones this was way more common, people leave a bar or venue for a cigarette, follow a lil puppy around a street corner in a large city then,… splash?!  You are lost!           Left asking strange people in strange places how the hell to get back to where originally were…let’s face it my rockers and rockettes, cell phone batteries die way faster these days, it could happen. The possibilities are endless in regards to the outcome of such a situation. In some cases, you may meet someone hot and end up at their place, this sort of situation will be addressed in my next entry, oooh do tell; I WILL!

When in strange places, stick to the pint(s) and reduce your chances of asking “peep A”, at the waffle house in “city B”, how to get to” club C”. Ok, more on strange places in Pint 2…bands and motivated travelers- you will want to read carefully, and take notes! Cheers to ya!

When I hear the words "Lets Grab  A Pint" I automatically salivate, stress gets reduced to near 0, and the outcome is usually invigorating. Many of my pals, male and female use this term, "Let's Grab a Pint"  and its very rare for me to decline, lets grab a pint. Okay, now, when I accept the offer, the adventure usually begins with (other than driving to the local pub, bar or tavern) umm err, grabbing a pint! On most occasions, the establishment will have my beer of choice, if they do (or not) the grab a pint notion typically turns into 1. multiple pints  2. a single pint, then bottles of beer. 3 complete debauchery!!! i.e pints, shots, drinks, pints!!

Generally, shots for me are whiskey but as gentleman, I will rarely turn down any shot. My goal here is to get some feedback from those who have accepted the invitation for a pint and ended up on an adventure, rather it be, lots and lots of pints, beers, shots and or drinks...or a total onslaught of drunken madness that has lead you to other places than the bar you originally visited to "grab a pint" cheers! local
