What a year 2007 was for me. A year full of ups and downs. A few tattoos re worked and one new one specially commissioned for me by Courtney Davis which looks absolutely fantastic. The year started of with me still looking for work ,and working temp for BRS recruitment. Had several job interviews but no offers of employment. then in march i was offered the job of assistant manager/ groundskeeper of greens cafe in padstow which was ideal, a job i could sink my teeth in to. Worked hard all summer in the cafe and on the course, redesign the interior seating area so customers had somewhere to sit whilst it rained( needed it this year)built my shed and did a lot of other work at home for them i.e. designed posters , menus , did a health and safety report . Then in Oct something special happened Kiz and I got in to a relationship. I travelled up to Andover 170 miles from Bodmin to stay a couple of days then she returned to Cornwall with me. I showed her around parts of Cornwall and even took her to work . Then on the 24th Oct the day we were going to head back up to Andover to take her back a bombshell was dropped on me . i was made redundant told that the cafe was heading in a different direction and they wanted someone with more catering experience I was given my p45 ,wages and other monies owed me and was given the choice to work my notice or I could leave right then (still being paid my notice) so I choose it would be better to leave then and now. Don't know what might of happened if it wasn't for Kiz. The next day we left for Andover as planned but I could stay a bit longer that I was going to at first which meant i could stay for her daughters 18th birthday party boy was that fun i really had a great time. It was soon time for me to head home and try to sort out a job, so I started back with BRS and got a temporary position with a firm I had worked for before only to be told after 1 day that the funding had run out and they could no longer afford to keep me on. So I was back to square one once more . It was then that we made the decision to move in with Kiz . We both came back to Cornwall in Dec for a week, mainly to take my nephew to see Thin Lizzy in Exeter. I managed to get Kiz a ticket so she could come along too. It was her first live gig and we all had some fun. It was during this time that we had a picnic on Bodmin moor see last entry for pics. Then it was back Home for Xmas this year was one of the best Xmas days I have ever had because I was with the person I love. here's to 2008 .
