Oh... where do I begin. Well, I guess landing in Cairns would make the most sense. It was a short 2 hour flight from Sydney to Cairns, pronounces "Cans" by the locals. When I arrived, Bobsy was there waiting for us. I had the evening to relax, then we were going to dinner at a Balinese restaurant. They seem to be really big on meat in Bali. Which is fine with me. I dove right in! I enjoyed the meal. The part about dinner I liked most though, was being able to share it with Hui. Hui is the boss man at Cal Vista. He's the guy who hooked me up with this trip out to Australia and possible my next trip out to Melbourne in November for Sexpo! Still not set in stone, but pretty damn close!
Needless to say, the hotel was the best there was in Cairns. It was the Shangri La and my view was just beautiful. It was non-stop ocean and mountains! I took full advantage of it every morning and night! On the first working day, I made my way down to the convention hall. When they told me that I would have my own signing booth-type area, I was not expecting very much. But man was I blown away when I saw what they had for me! There were life-sizes pictured of me, my name everywhere. A booth, all of my very own! I felt like a queen for the week! A very special thank you to all of the designers involved in making that fabulous booth for me! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it! This particular convention was for the select few of buyers that Cal Vista sells to. So there were really only about 100 or so VIPs there that I got to meet. They were all very laid back and really cool! And then there was the sri-lankan battery seller. You all know how much fantasize about men of ethnicity. However, this particular man crossed my line. I go out of my way, I really do. I'm a nice person. I'm sweet and I'm VERY generous with my time. But this guy, crossed the goddamn line! The first time he came up to me, he told me he had never seen my movies and that he was just in love with my body. He said, I don't care about any of the the other girls here, but your body just drives me crazy!
So I took a picture with him. And throughout my time there, he would come back every now and again to talk to me. This time, he brought his own camera and decided he wanted to take some of his OWN shots of just me, in all kinds of different positions. This was fine with me. But then he asked me to come to HIS battery booth, because he is supposedly the battery guy when it comes to needing batteries for your sex toys. So I went to his booth and took a couple pictures. Well, then. The next day, he did the same thing, took some more pictures and had me come to his booth again. Now, he's already crossed the line at this point. But I left it slide, because that is the type of girl I am. This time, I brought Aiden along with me. You know, for protection. Just in case. So funny thing is, my protection roamed off somewhere during the "shoot". Apparently he got bored and decided that looking at lingerie was more important. After about five pictures, the battery guy was literally sweating. He told me he had a hard on. And to look at it! I couldn't stop laughing. He asked why I was laughing and I said cuz it's funny that you have a boner! And I was uncomfortable at the same time, so that was a bit of the laughing as well, but I didn't tell him that. He then asked me to touch it! I couldn't believe what I just heard. I was blown away. He even knew Aiden and I were together! So I touched his hard on... just kidding! He even told
me Aiden wouldn't know, that he wouldn't see! I told him I don't do that kind of stuff, I'm not like that! I stuck up for myself and I said NO! I felt so proud for standing up to him! I'm glad I had Aiden, it gave me even MORE of a reason why I couldn't touch him! If I were single, I still wouldn't have wanted to touch it! The thing that gets me is how people just decide since you do porn, that's all there is to you. Like I don't think about anything but sex 24 hours a day. Well goddamnit, I do! Please, for god goddamn sake! Respect my ass a little! I think my lesson has been learned. And that is... Sometimes you just can't be nice all the time. And over the years, I've realized, if you give them an inch, they'll try to rape you for a mile! So, if you want some of my time, don't get greedy!
Finally, back at the hotel. Every chance that I got, I put my bikini on and tried to get some sun. Let's just say that during my stay in Cairns, it was the end of Summer. The wet season, if you may. I don't mind the rain, clouds and thunder, but when you're in Australia, don't you think, Sunny? I know, I know. People told me how the weather was going to be, but a girl can dream, can't she? So every day that I got done with work, it was cloudy and rainy. Let's just say that the Sun and I, we didn't have a very good connection during that trip. The next day I woke up and was getting ready and I heard Aiden yell, get out here now and take a picture, you don't wanna miss this. And when I came out, what did I see, the BIGGEST arco iris I've ever seen! That's rainbow in spanish for all of your monolinguals out there! It may not look very big in this picture, but I assure you, it was gigantic and it looked like I could climb onto it and find the pot of gold on the other side!
One of the days during lunch break, I got to go to the zoo. This was interesting, because it was a zoo on top of a hotel/casino! And yes, they had Koala bears! I paid $13 to get my picture taken with one, I was so excited, so we walked around the zoo for about 45 minutes and then it was time for the picture, I couldn't wait to hold the cute little guy! They told me to come inside the little fenced in area and they showed me how to old my hands, put down a paper towel and said get ready. Get ready? Ok get ready to hold this cute little Koala! I got ready, they placed him in my arms and before I knew it I saw a flash and he was gone, all that was left was a Koala shit smeared on the towel, my thumb and my shirt. So I paid $13 for a Koala to shit on me and for a picture that Aiden could have photoshopped together in 2 minutes. It's okay... I got to hold a Koala...at least, I think I held him.
And here is me, on my way down to the signing, walking by that lovely pool that always seemed to get sunny when I wasn't around and rainy when I was. Too bad, so sad.
On my way to the masquerade. My lips look so big, right? Hell yeah they do! It's this magic stuff called lip gloss! And positioning of course! That was the first time I've ever been to a masquerade ball! They had a nice dinner and auction benefiting prostate cancer. It was held by the Alpha girls and they want to make me a junior member! Sweet sisters! I'll be able to sport an Alpha badge! Basically they're a group of women in the adult industry who like to "give something back to the boys". So they auctioned off a baseball bat I signed, it went for over $1500. And then there was also a picture of me, Cassidy and Lilianne Tiger topless. They did two of them for $1500 each! Jesse Jane was also supposed to be in the picture, but magically she disappeared before the auction.
Sadly, the week was coming to a close. Work was ahead, fun was trailing behind. Luckily, the last day, we got to close the show at 3:30pm, this left promise for some sun. And sun was what I had! The last day was the most beautiful day of the whole week! I layed out for an hour or so and then got some of the best fries I've ever eaten! The pool water was disgusting so I didn't even step my foot inside. Aiden had no problem with it, I even think he opened his mouth a couple times. No wonder why he's STILL sick.
Well, I'm glad to be back home though even though Australia is just a beautiful place to visit! Home is where the heart is! I do hope to get back there again this year, and this time meet all the fans!
