Sir Arnauld, Knight, brave and bold
Who’s exploits in stories have been told
In Loyalty to his king and his realm
seen many battles dressed in armor and helm
*
Lady Abigail, beautiful and pristine
Loves the man who’s heart she has seen
But how to get this man’s attention
To show him her great love and affection
*
A Lady must be proper and demure
Until her wedding night she must remain pure
Always chaperoned by ladies in waiting
Her mind on the Knight upon whom she’s thinking
*
Sir Arnauld had noticed her but did not approach
For he held her in his mind above reproach
This woman who was in his thoughts night and day
To her there was much that he wanted to say
*
In order to woo her, his King must approve
His love for her he would have to prove
Sir Arnauld wanted this Lady in his life
To come home to from battle and weary strife
*
Lady Abigail must attend audience with the king
he would see the love to his Knight she would bring
His Knight deserved only the very best of brides
Someone who would always be by his side
*
What shall happen with this pair of lovers
Will they see a wedding night under the covers
Will they live in love happily ever after
Will they live their lives in happiness and laughter
*
Will there be more to this story to write
Will their future be sunny and bright
We shall see what the future holds
For Lady Abigail and her Knight so bold
*
